I wonder if we can organise easily and quickly the folders when we install a 2TB SSD. If we can, for that features alone, it would be interesting. Because I have plenty of files I did, made, bought or even converted (from vinyl) over the years that I have now on my computer, organised the way I want... if I could have them inside the MPC-X with the same organisation, that would be great... and I'm saying this as a Maschine user now, but I wouldn't mind to have MPC-X even if it's only to work on the beats part when not connected to the computer :)

For as much as the mpc x cost it should come with a full cover monitor touch screen attached to the base and folds down like a laptop. So it can have more analog buttons.

7:45 onwards is quite revealing. This machine is clearly quite complicated to use. In spite of being more familiar with this product than anyone else, he spends much time moving from screen to screen before finally giving up and reloading the whole song. This kind of interruption when working with technology rather than with music can be poison to creativity. Still, I'm almost certain to get an mpc x or live. For personal reasons. Don't judge me.

Ave Mcree the MPC 4000 is the last one actually made by Akai... All the ones after that are made by Numark which bought Akai after the 4000 came out. The only MPC I own is a 4000 so I guess I biased... I got an MPC X on pre-order though.

These "keyboard" reviews suffer from only being 1080p. You can't read the labels on the device. Same for Jack's Dreadbox previews: couldn't make out any details from the overhead camera.

The Resolution ( 1080p ) isin't really the problem. What is the problem is the exposure on the camera. I was suffering a bit when I did my video on the Akai MPD232. What happens is that you can get a view on the screen, but the rest of the device would be shown much darker since the exposure is only enough to collect the light from the Screen on the device, rather than light from other sources to bounce off and show the rest of the device's features ( knobs faders etc.)
