➤Kanhoji Jedhe :-
Kanhoji Naik-Jedhe Deshmukh was a 17th-century Maratha Sardar , and a trusted aide of Shahajiraje, and of Shahaji's son Shivajiraje, who founded the Maratha Empire in 1674. Kanhoji owned the entire 'Rohid Khora', which includes the forts of Raireshwar and Rohideshwar, in present-day Bhor taluka, near Pune. The administration was controlled from his native place Kaari He was respected among the Deshmukhs, noblemen in the area. Kanhoji was of the same age of Shahajiraje. His eldest son Baji 'Sarjerao' Jedhe was two months older than Shivajiraje. Shahajiraje sent Kanhoji along with the young Shivajiraje to Pune. Because of his high personal standing among the Jamindars, he helped Shivajiraje in organising most of them under his banner.
His actual testing time came when Afzal Khan, a Sardar sent by Bijapur court, came to attack Shivajiraje. Adilshah threatened all the Deshmukhs of the Maval region to support Afzal or else perish. At the behest of Shivajiraje, Kanhoji convened a meeting of all the Deshmukhs (who had received similar threats from Adilshah) at his 'wadaa' at Kaari. Kanhoji not only stood by Shivajiraje, but inspired and motivated all the Deshmukhs to fight for Swaraj. He played a pivotal role in planning and executing the battle of Prataapgad which eventually led to the defeat of Afzal Khan's army. After Afzal was defeated soundly at the Battle of Pratapgad, Shivajiraje honored the loyalty and bravery of Kanhoji by awarding him talwarichya pahilya panache maankari (Sword of Honour).
➤Bahirji Naik :-
Bahirji Naik was an Indian spy and military commander in the army of Chatrapati Shivaji during a time when the Maratha Empire and Mughal Empire were at war. He is assumed to be a Maratha by his clan name Jadhav, but there is a tradition which claims him to be of the Ramoshi community, whose members were known for their resilience and as strong fighters.
Bahirji Naik, Shivaji Raje's Chief of Intelligence, was reasonably successful in his methods. His tomb is currently situated on Bhupalgad (Banurgad) in Khanapur taluka of Sangli district. He was born in the village of Shingave Naik Tal Nagar, Ahmednagar. In 1692, Bahirji's son, Tukoji Naik, built Ram Mandir and the outer border of the Shingave Village. A stone bearing an inscription of his name is kept in the Ram Mandir.
Not much is or was known about the early life of Bahirji, except that his expeditions and adventures as a spy in Chatrapati Shivaji's army greatly contributed to the success of the Maratha Empire.
Bahirji was skilled at gathering detailed information about every aspect of his missions, and a lion's share of credit for many of Chatrapati Shivaji's surprising feats must go to Bahirji Naik and his people.
➤Prataprao Gujar :-
Prataprao Gujar was born as Kudtoji Gujar into a Gurjar family which is classified amongst immigrant family stock in Marathas. He was the third royal Senapati of King Chatrapti's army . He was given the title of Prataprao (the brave) by King chatrapti in acknowledgement of his bravery in the war against Mirza Jai Singh.
He was a highly gifted aristocratic general, who enjoyed the trust of his king and the loyalty of his troops. He defeated a large Mughal Army at the famous Battle of Salher.
➤Shiva Kashid :-
शिवा काशीद हे शिवाजी राज्यांच्या सैन्यात न्हावी होते. त्यांनी शिवाजी महाराजांवर आणि पर्यायाने मराठी राज्यावर आलेल्या संकटाचे निवारण करतेवेळी आपल्या प्राणाचे बलिदान दिले, म्हणून शिवाजीराजे सिद्दी जोहरने पन्हाळगडाला दिलेल्या वेढ्यातून सुखरूप निघाले व विशाळगडावर पोहचले. हे शिवा काशीद हुबेहूब शिवाजी राजांसारखे दिसत असत. त्यांना पोशाखही शिवाजी महाराजांचा दिला होता. त्यामुळे सिद्दी जोहरच्या सैनिकांनी पालखीत बसलेल्या आणि पळून जाण्याच्या प्रयत्नात असलेल्या शिवा काशीदांना, शिवाजी राजे समजून पकडले आणि सिद्दीकडे नेले. मात्र, हे शिवाजी नाहीत असे कळताच जोहरने त्यांच्या छातीत तलवार खूपसली. ही घटना १२-१३ जुलै १६६० या दिवशी घडली.

भारतात दुर्दैवाने क्रिकेट..राजकारण.. आणि बॉलीवूड फिल्म..यांनाच ज्यादा महत्व दिलं जातं.. माझ्या मते हे तिन्ही क्षेत्र बहुतांशी प्रमाणात भूमीपुत्रांच्या हातात आहेत..त्याचे कारण? इतिहास ?...राजे..क्रांतिवीर..चांगले नेते..चांगले नागरिक, देशभक्त..या सगळ्या लोकांनी परकीय लोकांना टक्कर दिली।। नाहीतर देश स्वतंत्रच झाला नसता।। म्हणून गडकिल्ले..क्रांतिवीर..देशासाठी हुतात्मा झालेले महापुरुष ..त्यांचे कार्य आपली संस्कृती.. टिकवणे गरजेचे आहे।। काही लोक म्हणतात इतिहासचा काय आपल्याला फायदा . मुले गणित विज्ञान इंग्रजी शिकले की त्यांचे चांगले करिअर होईल।।मी म्हणतो इतिहास म्हणजे आपला बाप त्यांना विसरून कस जमेल।।आणि तो औरंगजेब सारखा माणूस स्वतःच्या बापाला विसरून देश ताब्यात घेतो तो काय देशाचं भलं करणार।। बापाला विसरणारा सायंटिस्ट होऊन देशाशी काय इमानदारी ठेवणार।। त्यामुळे इतिहास हा आमचा बाप आहे त्याच्याशी आम्ही एकनिष्ठ आहे।।आणि असा विचार करणारेच देशाचा विचार करू शकतात....नाहीतर आहेच स्वतःची घरभरनी करायला राजकारणी तयार...जगात भारी आमच्या राजाचा इतिहास आणि शिवचरित्र... जय शिवराय।।जय भारत।।
