I barely listen to WFAN anymore and literally tune in at most 5 minutes in the morning and tune right off because I can't stand Greg Gionatti. I will say though, I tuned in this morning for those five minutes and they were talking about how WFAN gets no guests on anymore from the MSG networks due to that lady Maggie working there a few years back. I have no idea what she did or who she pissed off over there, but the guys talking about it this morning seemed to show they didn't care about getting guests on and were more interested in their own voices. I guess the barstool model is what everyone goes for these days. Kudos to them if it works but it's not interesting to me and is why i do not tune in anymore to these stations.

Oh man those were the days, from MIke teasing Chris about his SF Giants, to Chris actually predicting the Bills would beat NYG 45- 10 , to Yanks winning WS fr 1996 thru 2000, and the Rants by both ( CHirs havin a melt down when I thnk his SF Giants blew a series to ATL,) and Mike & CHris coverin NY rangers and Knicks in 1994 just about every day. EVEN the off the wall talks of the OJ case and their reactions in OCT when the verdict was announced

The take on Alonso makes little sense. The best contract he has been offered has come from the Mets. Alonso/Boras didn’t take it. There is not a good reason if you are the Mets to pay him more. More importantly, there is not a good reason if you are Alonso to have not taken the contract. How do the Mets look bad here? They don’t.

I think Mike’s memory is betraying him. I remember he picked Bills against Redskins in Super Bowl 26 because he felt Bills have the best player (Thurman Thomas) and a better quarterback (Jim Kelly) on the field and didn’t trust Redskins QB (Mark Rypien). In the Bills’ last Super Bowl against Cowboys his comment back then was that Bills was able to stay with Cowboys for only the first half - not close enough for a win (even though better than the previous SB where they only played effectively for 1 quarter). I used to be Bills fan back in the 90s so I remember it well.

Ron Torbert will be the Head Referee of Super Bowl 59. Torbert is infamous for his crew losing track of the number of downs and the time clock in the Cincinnati v KC AFC Championship game. They gave KC 5 downs which Mahomes turned into a touchdown. I mean Goddell is tone deaf on the refs giving KC all the breaks. Look up KC's record when Torbert is Head Ref. Unbelievable. On the final play that got the Chiefs in FG position. Mahomes ran for 25 yards but the Bengals DE was literally tackled in a choke hold. No Flag.

What’s crazy is they won’t show the exact footage on the kick return for KC where half the team threw a block in the back and nothing was called. Everyone talking about the 4th down plays(and rightfully so), but man do these con men cover up the truth easily. So, they keep the game close by out coaching you and executing you, then the refs step in and put them over the top. Same skewed result. This has been going on since the first Super bowl with S.F.. There were 40 uncalled holding penalties on those last 3 KC drives. The next year, all the same plays were called as penalties and they got crushed by Brady.
