The Militado ML 1868 - Field Watch Chronograph

I have this exact model and it’s unbelievably well specced. The Baltany version is slightly differently finished, with a brushed rear case back with no logo and the sub dials appear to be more Matt in finish. The Militado is the one to go for, for value. I bought mine in February, is now July and it has lost 3 seconds, unreal accuracy. The Sapphire crystal is one of the best I’ve seen at any price, the watch is as light as a feather and the size is perfect for most. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and the 39mm case looks perfect. I thought I’d never get a watch smaller than 41mm across. I’ve swum in rivers with it on a steaming hot day and the watch was fine, with no fogging at all. The finish is unreal in its execution, looking through a loupe, there is no dust. I paid £71 for this watch and it is amazing quality, almost regardless of price. I’m sure I’ll have it for many years to come. I often thought I’d be keen on getting a Hamilton, but this one has scratched the itch, especially as I’ve heard about water resistance issues with Hamilton. I’d love to see an automatic version of this or a dirty dozen version. If this sort of watch piques your interest, just buy it. It will impress for sure. Given the choice, I’d love one with pure white indices throughout. Its would be contemporary and modern. Incidentally, there is a date version of this…..a perfect everyday watch.

I have this watch and mine has absolutely stellar lume. Even the subdial hands are lumed.

Terrific watch! I want to say Baltany came out stating they are not associated with Militado 🤷🏻‍♂️. Oh well. More choices means better watch buying experience for us. Thanks as always!

That is so strange, these have to be made in the same factory. Go for the Militado, at least it means something. It’s just Spanish for Military!

These have ramped up in price since there release...Your looking at £90 GBP for the exact dial config your showing.. at this moment in time i may add...upto £105 GBP dependent of dial layout etc.....Maybe worth dropping in basket till the big next sale..
