YOU can go to heaven NO MATTER WHAT YOU’VE DONE! (NOT A BOT) (Here’s how!): When a person first becomes a Christian, their entire past is automatically erased and completely forgiven by God! Simple. Yes, You heard that correctly, you will literally NOT be in trouble for a single you did in before becoming a Christian *NO MATTER HOW BAD*. (This includes crime, etc.) So, What do you have to do in order for Jesus to Erase your past? All you have to do is (1) believe that Jesus was real, (2) turn from your wrong doings (stealing, abusing your spouse, gossip, crime, etc), and start living your life by the Bible! That’s it! So yes, this is a get out of jail free card; and Everyone can make it to heaven including gangsters and robbers, etc if they turn their life around and follow Jesus! (Mark 3:28)- “I tell you the truth, ANY sin can be forgiven.” (Except for blasphemy) (Acts 3:19)- “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” Version 8.0

The project is called Talos, i spent the last years as a material scientist developing the system. It is a total disaster and if it comes to anything in 20 years I would be amazed. We can’t get the biomechanics to work, the suit is too heavy, we can get the ankle joint to work, we can get the width of the shoe to fit in the door comfortably, and we can’t get it to carry enough weight to substantially upgrade the armor capacity of the operator. All of this and we have about a 35 to 40 minute battery life with lithium ion rechargeable‘s. This is all on taxpayer money. The suit does not fly. everything this guy is saying is total BS.

I don't know who Jay is but I can tell you he knows what he is talking about. This project has been a shit show and we are not close to this being reality. A lot of the other stuff he is talking about is horseshit too. I am not saying he is lying, he likely just does not know enough about the tech to know what is and is not real and how far things are from really being ready for real world operations.

Agreed Jay, Having spent time in rooms with people…this guy isn’t guarded enough and runs his mouth. Regardless if the project is “declassified” or not, anyone worth their weight in the community keeps their mouth shut. Especially if the project is still being funded. Also, he should never comment on aspects of a project he had nothing to do with. Clearly lacks fundamental knowledge on the details…as someone who analyzes/ people…he edits too much in the wrong spots. Annnnyway. I suspect he was in a think tank for SEALS 15 years ago when they did a “what would you like to see” seminar…threw out some ideas and maybe sat a boardroom for a week and brainstormed…that’s it.

Robotics engineer here: I'm a little skeptical of what they are saying and they said it. The world is a loooooong ways away from an iron man suit imo (which personally I think isn't even practical with power limitations, and modern weaponry). It would be a multi million dollar coffin to the pressure wave of any explosive and a reliability nightmare. Autonomy is the future of warfare, but we are not as advanced as people think... Bad weather conditions... at night? Yeah, good luck with reliable perception. Active research topic (we're getting there though!) BTW, there's a company called gravity industries which has a real flying jet suit, check them out. They have like 15 minute flight times using jet fuel... Way more power density than any thermo nuclear device and that's about all they can do. They realised its a bust for military and have shifted to search and rescue application, very cool tech though

I think the military’s use of the word “Iron Man” for these suits and their evolution is so far off from our idea of the actual Iron Man suit that we know from the movies and comics. So I don’t think she’s wrong or full of BS. It’s just the project name they gave it. Which isn’t anywhere near the actual Iron Man suit we think of when we hear the name. But given time and advancements in technology, we could actually see it one day.

Something that the Iron Man archetype captures quite well is the technological holy grail of generating large amounts of energy in a compact and efficient way. Tony before and after that invention are two different individuals despite all the genius you want to put into him as a character. Could, but would never. They would never give us free energy. Their black budgets are 99% funded on the wars for oil and 1% tax payer money. They would hold onto that secret like it was the arc of the covenant in Jerusalem 2,000bce and I fully expect that if a suit carrying that kind of battery gets disabled in battle, they would instantly drop warheads on it to keep the secret, whether the soldier in it is alive or not. Secrecy is Paramount.

I assumed they were talking about much smaller vehicles, like fighter aircraft etc. that could bear significantly lower loads. Still have no idea what they can carry, but it would be weird for a guy with background in MMA where people are constantly weighed, to value 1000lbs as 100 people.

The problem is that the material needed to stop ballistic projectiles is heavy and bulky. You can add systems to assist movement but it will never be flexible or light enough to function in the field. There may be a couple of situations where this could be viable but it would be limited to very few situations
