I was at my office desk - panicking,
overwhelmed with a huge project I was working on.
There was only a few more hours left until 5:00pm
when my workday ended, but I knew the work I was doing
was definitely not going to be done by that time.
I needed at least 2-3 more hours, but the work had
to get done for the BIG presentation with my boss
and coworkers tomorrow morning.
As I'm blasting through my project, on my computer,
I felt jittery energy running through my body.
All I wanted was some sugary, creamy chocolate
or a gooey, soft, sweet cookie.
I ran out into the office kitchen area where there's always snacks
and found some leftover donuts from this morning.
Sneaked 3 of them in a plate and tried my best to hide them
as I ran back to my desk.
At the moment I was so glad to be able to chew
on something enjoyable while I plowed through this anxiety
and overwhelm.
I didn't even realize I ate all 3 without even noticing it!
I needed more!
I ran to the vending machine - peanut M&M's!
Perfect!
Later that night, in bed trying to fall asleep, I'm so dissapointed
in myself.
Why did I let that happen again? Why did I eat so much junk?
When am I ever going to get my weight & eating under control?
THAT was me not too long ago.
And now I barely even know that version of me.
Because I was FINALLY able to figure out how to
get past the overwhelm, stress, tiredness, all the things
without turning to food for comfort.
And the result....
FINALLY getting to my BEST Body - my goal weight!

I was just thinking about you and then I came on here and you posted a new video. I did your 48 hour rolling fast before and I’ve never lost so much weight in my life. My skin was glowing and I felt so good. Trying to get back into it.

Awesome! 🎉 Glad I was able to inspire you to do 48s I have done much fasting in the past few years now but it was a good time when I was into. Learned alot about self-discipline 💪🏼

Do you encourage fasting?

I still coach people through fasting if they’re interested in that but it’s not required to get to and maintain your goal weight. I haven’t done any long fasts in a few years now, only intermittent fasting like a 16:8. I eat everyday now.
