What an extraordinary testimony, humility and recognition from Chris Hedges. Americans and Europeans need to watch it to see and understand the scope of our criminal colonialist wars in Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Afghanistan, and not to mention our horrible legacies in China, India, the Korean Peninsula and Vietnam. Do we really have democratic values and respect for human rights, religious and cultural diversities ? Thank you the Emir Stein Center for your brilliant series!

This narrative of peace and brotherly love may be artificially held in high esteem for the optimists of this world. It's a "feel good" moment that temporarily enters a human's mind to wash away the doubt we harbor for others' intention. In fact, he was expelled from The New York Times newspaper for assuming that his criticism of the American injustice toward its own people had a sympathetic audience and reader in USA. His reward was expulsion as a reporter from NYTimes! He has written multiple books about the societal decay in America. I am simply reminding Muslims that the reality is occupation of Moslem land by the infidels. The enemy remains in the occupied lands of West Asia. Muslims must remain vigilant. Thank you Mr. Hedges. Sometimes I worry if... narcissism is taking hold of you. But then you produce something like this and at a time like this... it's the sermon we need... I need. Often my greatest enemy is my own resistance to ... comply with the kindness to learn more of the language of those who insists on seeing me as "enemy".

Remarkable teacher and student. When you strip away the externals and go straight to the heart of Humanity, miracles happen. How wise he was to learn the language, culture and customs of his assigned country.

Wow. That is beautiful! I believe Tennessee Williams said something similar: "I have always depended on the kindness of strangers."

Wonderful to see a "True Christian Brother" on this channel. I have been listening to Chris Hedges for sometime now, and I have learnt so much - concerning injustices in the "World of Politics". Peace & One Love, to the Human Family.
