What is this has to do with Islamic culture? Why they didn't build these architecture in their religion birth homes of Mecca and Yathreb (the Madina)? All these architectural monuments were built by non Arab architects from different cultures who found themselves under Islamic occupation.

Big fan of this channel, but this video is very devastating. They quoted part of the verse of the Quran without mentioning the contexts. Secondly, 9/11 was labeled as a religious attack. It is pretty evident that people were killed by their own government. Islam has clear laws on war. Soilders vs soldiers or government vs government. No civilians, animals, and plants should be hurt. And greatest of all islam is against genocide.

Were your school lessons accompanied by over loud, annoying, inane, irrelevant noise? Didn't think so. I came here to learn something, not to listen to extraneous, annoying, idiot background 'music'. Thumbs down for that reason ALONE.

Everything Michael Penn says is nonsense. The Christians living in the Middle East were hostages (dhimmi, lawless servants) of Muhammad and his caliphs. The whole world saw how the IS terrorists (Kurds, Turks, Arabs...), followers of Muhammad, brutalized Christians in Syria and Iraq in 2014. Many churches would be bombed, many Assyrian cultural assets would be destroyed, women and priests would be kidnapped and brutally dismembered and driven out of their millennia-old settlement areas through terror. Between 1914 and 1918, two-thirds of these Christians were murdered and wiped out forever by Muslim Iranian nomads (Kurds) and Turks, followers of Muhammad. Here, Michael Penn attempts to gloss over and court Islam by mentioning Christian references. But he doesn't know how the Christians were treated as slaves without rights by Mohammed and his followers. Islamic ideology is a satanic ideology designed specifically for charlatans and bandits.

I do know all that. I am born at the edge of the Medina and I do know that. The poor people have always something to give. We are all God' s children therefore they are sharing what they have. The Wall Street neocons should think about all that.

Do people realise had it not been for Muslims, Christopher Columbus might've not "discovered" America? For Christopher Colombus used the calculations and measurements of the Muslim Al-Farghani, but he misinterpreted them landing him in America instead of Asia. The lunar crater Alfrangus is actually named after Al-Farghani, fun fact. But ironically, had it not been for Muslims, Christopher Columbus might've not "discovered" America. For he used the calculations and measurements of the Muslim Al-Farghani for his voyages, but he misinterpreted them landing him in America instead of Asia. The lunar crater Alfrangus is actually named after Al-Farghani, fun fact. He also likely used maps made by Muslims such as Al-Idrisi. I can't believe you didn't mention that. Really dislike how you framed the middle ages as just European Christians and Muslims clashing swords together and arguing about whose faith was cooler.

there are very authentic theories that muslim sailors arrived in the americas way before Columbus and some of the indigenous tribes there than converted freely without any form of violence to islam. in some other cases those are not theories but historical facts. so an essential part of this video is false

The best solution to this problem is if we all accept that these books and scriptures are just the product of their time and just an attempt by people of that time to understand the world around them. Early humans tried their best to understand phonomina like rain, fire, storms and everything else so they came up with sprit like entities and then based on their experiences they wrote down everything that they knew of and composed these texts until over time people began to see these texts as devine revalations or devinly inspired. Its all just evoloution of our brain and neurological determism and neouron plasticity and the rest. However due to our evolution as homo sapiens we have developed concepts like strong faith in superstitions for our survival this shows that we humans are just like any other species.

Although i disagree as these scriptures do contain many good things but also many horrible things their nature is very clear these arent some extremists misinterpreting the scriptures these scriptures do infact encourage voilence, hatefullness you cant get away with that it is just a plain simple fact that so many people ignore what i really hate is when people say " Its not god or religion its the people its the extremist" just an excuse to ignore the voilence and hate in these scriptures. Mybe you dont follow the voilence and hate in your books but there are so many people thst do take these books follow the teachings of these books and they end up doing things which are simply against humanity.

Based on evidence Islam we know today was created by the Abbasids before them Islam we know today did not exist. Thry were ones who crafted many of the hadith collections and compiled them thry also altered many of the events in the past and added new stories and events like the fitna, or the Ridda wars. Prophet Muhammad we know of today we know nothing about his life every thing comes from the Abbasid sources. He wasnt the founder of Islam we know of today and he was likely a legendary figure based of Ilyas Ibn Qabisha, christian preacher and many others these were later merged into one figure. Before the Abbasids there was a Christian sub sect that would later evolve inro the Islam we know of today.

Aztects, Mayas, Incas and everyone in between worshipped all kinds of bloodthirsty Gods with Jesus or Mohammed not being among them. If you see what genocidal trouble the Spaniards and Portuguese had to go through to install Christianity and abolish pagan rituals the chance of Islam being established by a few Islamic explorers is litteraly 0. Its a very good thing too as throwing in another religion on the South-American continent would have made the bloodshed even worse. Its already bad enough as it is so no thanks.

Different point of view of history are complimentary. Although finding a way of reaching the Far East without using the old land silk route then in moslem hands was an important goal and there were fightings between Christians defending against the encroachment of Islam on Europe, there were different interests. According to latest studies Columbus appear to be a converted Sephardic Jew mist probable from Valencia. The Genoa story might have been a way of hiding his origins.Jews were persecuted and finally spelled from Spain a day before he embarked on his first journey. His crew wad composed of many converted jews. He might had have finding a place for jews as one of his goals. They might have expected to find the lost israelite tribes. Actually, his translator was expert on Hebrew.
