Dark mode is very similar to the big display. Not a distraction at all. From what I can tell, it doesn't have a brightness setting. It could benefit from allowing you to tone it down if you want. Happy New Year to you as well.

For my 2 cents, it's missing the Apple/Google CarPlay integration that the other larger displays have and that feature would be the icing on the cake for it's smaller size and minimal air blockage...

I don't think there's any need to visit for them to know about it. They can tell from reading the software settings.

Bought one for AMD Ryzen for Model Y 2022. connection on Drive side panel is not compatible (i think its for power). Connection on passenger side is done. Have you heard about this?

Is it weird that with an expensive car you have to buy a fairly hard to fit accessory to view all the fundamental safe driving information right in front the steering wheel so you don't have to look across to a TV screen in the middle of the car. This is standard set up for virtually all cars except Tesla's and very cheap Eastern European cars. In my Kona Electric it comes standard with a Heads up Display on the windscreen with vehicle speed, speed limit, side lane warning, satnav directions, adaptive cruise control, Lane keeping, etc. Plus many of the key controls are provided by buttons on the steering wheel. Is it just me but for Tesla drivers to have to look across to the centre of the car to see and use key information and controls is a funky gimic for little kids and down right rediculous and worst off all dangerous. Its a little bit like the "king has no clothes" - very obvious but Tesla uses are too uptight to say anything.

For me yes. However, I haven’t tried many. It seems to be a good mix of size while not obstructing the airflow of the vents.
