She was found with her legs duct taped together. Melissa was going to sell Brittany to Jacob, to be his sex slave, as Amanda, Brittany’s mother said that Melissa liked “Daddy / daughter rough sex”. This isn’t role playing. What mother leaves a 5 year old with a woman who is into sexual deviant behavior, who has a boyfriend that is a convicted child sex predator?? A physical examination and subsequent tests revealed 5 year old Brittany had been sexually assaulted by Jacob Kinn. In an interview with officials at a family advocacy center, 5 year old Brittany identified Jacob Kinn as one of Melissa’s "friends" and said he put tape on her, took her to the cabin and told 5 year old Brittany that he was never coming back. According to a warrant, detectives reviewed text messages between Melissa and Jacob. The detective writes that the two of them had been "apparently attempting to acquire the child for the purpose of sexually assaulting her." This monster Jacob Kinn needs the death sentence. The relief that went through my body when they showed a picture of that baby girl safe. I can't even begin to imagine what her parents went through first off realising she was missing, assuming the worst, finding her safe, then only to find out that their "friend" had offered their daughter as a gift. That's exactly what I'm thinking, especially after watching and listening to the horrific stories of what people do to children. There's not a single soul that you can 100% trust with your child..not the other parent, not the grandparents, not sisters, not brothers, not aunt & uncles, not your friends, not the priest/pastor, just absolutely NO ONE.

You can't always guarantee everyone in your life wants your happiness, but that's something we all come to know. Helicopter parenting won't change that. All we can do is make the best choices we can, and raise our children to be aware of the danger, without sapping their self sufficiency.

God had absolutely _nothing_ to do with this child being saved. What saved this little kiddo was science/technology, an observant dispatcher and outstanding as well as quick law enforcement work. If god had something to do with her being saved I’d like to ask what the _hell_ god was doing allowing this toddler to be kidnapped, raped, and tortured. As usual god was twiddling his fucking thumbs while innocent kids suffer.

It was mentioned but obliquely. It is a small town and constant reference to the abuse may make it harder for her to heal mentally.

I always liked the ploy of appealing to their humanity..saying "We sit across this table from monsters everyday,you are not a monster,I can tell you're not a monster..or am I wrong,and you're tricking me,and you are one of those actual monsters"? Offering up,the idea of an accident or a mistake..just to get ur foot in the door. Get them to admit anything,even if it's not the truth..just changing their original story a little bit,even a little bit from their narrative. 😉 These investigators are artists. The tactics have to be gentle enough,so they don't ask for a lawyer,but enough to get some truth out of the perpetrator. This is an art!!
