Self wound always been my pick for one of the best in game decks. Feels good hearing you say that as well.

Yeah it's a very strong deck. I don't think it's as popular as other decks though since it can be a bit trickier to play.

@@platinumpatrol2964 Definitely that. Over the years I’ve played self wound with discard and Firesworn with Aerondight. Those are my best performers with some of the greatest results.

This week I didn't play against one single NR.. Felt really sad about it. Over the whole month it was so little I saw them, I did find a few knights decks which was nice. But I was very surprised of all the frost decks and scoia decks! Today alone I played against 4 frost decks!

Hey I’m pretty new like a month into it, I play frost bc I just kept seeing people recommend it as one of the better smoother starter decks to learn I understand it isn’t top of the line in terms of decks but I would love it if you did a video on it or game me some tips on where to go after frost? I was thinking vampires to stay with monsters, I don’t know the complexities of the vampires though

I would disagree that Frost isn't top of the line - it's one of the best Monsters decks at the moment. I'm going to do a video on Frost pretty soon since I played it a lot this season. If you want to play Vampires there are a couple of options - Golden Nekker Vampires or Renfri Vampires are the best ways to play them. They're not too complicated, generally you want to set up Fleder as it's a very powerful engine and put bleeding on the enemy units to make it really big (you also usually use a leader charge when you play the Fleder if you have no bleeding orders setup to make them hard to remove). Generally, you use cards like Operator and Incubus to bring back the Fleders in later rounds. Golden Nekker Vampires takes advantage of Golden Nekker to play Necromancer's Tome to also bring back Fleders with high tempo while Renfri Vampires has the advantage of very powerful tempo plays like Regis: Reborn and Renfri's leader order.

At a first glance, this is how it felt to me as well. Hell, maybe more sk than sng even. Or maybe it just feels that way cuz sk is always the same decks

Off topic but, You ever thought of making a video on the weekly game modes? I have a lot of interesting games in those even tho they tend to have a lot of broken decks, but could make for a fun compilation video instead of a particular deck maybe.

I've thought about it but the broken decks you mention that tend to dominate the mode put me off of doing a video on it.

I dont think SK is popular cs of it having good win rate. I think its just heavy control that is the best heavy control in the game at the moment, and everyone is playing it because of deck thinning and swarm and it gets a lot more points. The meta is enabling onslaught and not the other way around

That's always a possibility. The armor is also useful against things like Self-wound and Frost. I still think it's a strong deck though, especially the Compass version because of how flexible it is.
