I freaking love Beastars. Not only the drawing style is so unique in the manga, the idea of exploring a war of philosophies that could only exist in that world and that society, completely divorced from humans. It is not an allegory or a metaphor. You can draw parallels with the real world but its not a clean cut thing, so it frees the narrative to go batshit insane with how these characters would think and act and gives us a very unique story.
