I have lived seventy-four good years and have never had the privilege of being close to horses. In the past year I find myself gravitating to KZbin channels featuring these beautiful creatures and falling in love with them and those who care for them. I've learned so much and have made a promise to myself to seek out a rescue facility in my area to visit when Spring comes. Here in Ontario Canada it's perishingly cold (-17C overnight). What a joy to find the Magical Moons and their Legends. Thanks to Sadie and the Pethericks for the introduction. ❤ Charlotte

Yep, I'm in tears, too. I'm a retired dog trainer, and over 30 years I made many dog and human family friends. And helped with end of life care lots of times. It's the final kindness we can give them, as sad as it is. It was really best that I drove, too, for the family's safety on the way home. I'll be sure to have several hankies available to watch Cinderella's Story. Blessed be, Moons!

30+-year dog trainer here, too! Plus, I do a LOT of rescue and fostering. (Is 5 dogs and 3 cats too many at one time? 🤔) It is endlessly heartbreaking to let one go to the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈But they always send me at least one more that desperately needs me - and the other way around. I know that some part of them remains with me forever. One of my dearest friends does horse rescue. The Moons have been dear to my heart since I first discovered their channel. I think all rescuers and loving trainers are all the same. 💖🐕🐴😻

I rescued my little dog Pippa, who, when she first came to me cringed away from my hand and wet herself in fear. With love and patience she became a happy confident dog and a beloved friend and companion. 12 years later I held her as she died in my arms. She is buried, wrapped in her cosy blanket,in a bespoke box, in my garden. Two years later, I tell her the news, that she is still loved and not forgotten. The Moon family are magical and my heart lifts when I see that they have posted.

I keep them until they depart this magical earth. I’ve currently got a 17 year old warmblood mare and her five year old daughter. We have many happy years ahead of us. So glad to hear that you are staying put for now. You have the land and, while it’s not as easy as moving into a ready-made facility (not that moving is easy) you can create what you need for the horses and stay in that magical location. Hopefully we, as subscribers, can do our part to make that happen for you by commenting, liking and letting the ads run. I’m also following Black Horses, the Friesian Experience. They are in a similar situation to you and provide sanctuary for Friesian horses that find themselves in dire situations. They have a farm that dates back to 1646 and deal with the daily challenges of providing suitable stabling and coping with the special needs of older horses. I get to see two families, one each side of the English Channel, caring for these magnificent animals and showering them with love. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. ❤️🐎🇨🇦❤️

Dearest Magical Moons, I am an old lady & my dear husband & I (together since 1978) have loved many cats through the years. As well as the 3 precious dogs we had while our sons were growing up. We have always had rescues. And always provided love & care until it was time to say goodbye. We were with our 4 legged family members as they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We have always believed that the best gift for them was to be there as they transition to the next phase. Peaceful passings. And knowing that the sadness is ours, while our precious fluffy ones knew only love & peace with us. Our boys (long grown into good men) were with us, too. Blessings to all the world wide extended Magical Family.

Yes, I definitely agree the horses love the interactions as you mentioned they can enjoy watching the going’s on and be part of the family. Your beautiful precious land the rooming hills are a treasure. The horses can run in the fields and be free and feel that freedom of being who they are that is what keeps them healthy and happy. I know for myself I’m an outdoor person and I feel so much better when I go outdoors walking in nature, near water, trees, or lush grass it’s a healing it’s part of who we are to feel that interconnect with nature. I believe that horses are just like humans they just can’t talk like us. That’s the only difference they’re very intelligent beings. Yes, definitely the mud has to go! It would make life so much simpler for all involved. I do remember watching the video where Billy Patrick said: “oh what a magical, beautiful land you have here” he hit the nail on the head. You have a great place there a great place for children just like horses they need to run and explore and get involved in nature keeps them happy, healthy, and strong.💞🇨🇦🌈 Oskar is a darling thank you for capturing the precious moments that was lovely to watch so cute. He reminds me of my grandson. His name is Gabriel his father is French from Provence and his grandparents still live in Provence also his aunts, uncles and cousins.

My daughter got her first pony at age 4. As she grew into a teen, her pony was just a pasture pal. Out of the blue, he got colic. I will never forget my “baby” girl holding her pony’s head in her lap and looking up at me to do something. There was nothing I could do of course. Luckily the vet arrived to put him down, but it was heartbreaking.

There is so much you can do for mud. So glad you might be staying. I live in Tasmania. Not as cold as you but we get decent rainfall. Horse paddocks all around me. So many ways to mitigate wet feet for horses and humans.

So glad your're staying at the Magical Moon Farm! 🦄💝 An honorable mention for Horses: In "The Urantia Book" (1955)--a 'channeled' tome-of-a-book about the Multiverse, and everything 'in it'--it was stated that horses and elephants are the most evolved, and most intelligent of all Earth's land mammals. (Glad they said land, because I think Octopi (Neptune), and Whales and Dolphins (Sirius B) top everybody! It's so odd that, even today, 90% of the ocean is unknown to us. By the way, I worked with a woman in So Calif who was from British Columbia. She had been saved from drowning in a sinking rowboat... by a Moose! He used those impressive antlers to tow her to shore! I've been watching YT vids (housebound) of people aroung the globe with their pets and/or working animals. For instance, I love the young sheep man, Sean, in Scotland, with his uber-talented working Border Collies... The regular "news" programs around the world are mostly harmful shite. I stopped watching/listening to any of it after my long-term partner was killed in the hospital ICU by the Remdesivir protocol for covid-19, which he didn't have....
