In the 1960s two people met - this meeting would bring together two souls whose relationship would mean the torture deaths of innocent children and decades of misery for the victims families.
The evil pair went on to be the most hated persons in Britain.
In this episode we examine the backgrounds of the murdering couple and the tricks they used to lure their young victims away.
Plus at the the end we discuss: did the punishment fit the crime?

This video has been demonetised by KZbin, as usual there is nothing in the video except reality - which certain members of society seem to take a exception to. Perhaps there should be an alternative KZbin for these people, called “wrapped in cotton ball tube”. Plus an emigration of the same kind of people who are working for KZbin, to that new alternative version.

It depends, Oddie. There is info about Ian Brady attending same rallies as Jimmy Saville, there is info about Brady/Hindley killing these kids on ancient Druidic sacrificial sites( literal and I mean LITERAL blood sacrifice to Cerunos & whatever else druids worship). I I am a true crime nuts. Hence, I watch a lot of true crime bids, mostly vintage . Thus, I’ve seen multiple videos sensored: mostly videos where so called “ serial killers “ were in fact members of a gang, a Masonic fraternity, an occult group -- and when true snippets of info about these connections trickle down, these things are usually sensored. Like, for example , there is a sh1tlo@d of info about Fred & Rose West being procurers of children for others, as far as “ parties” in Glasgow in 1960’s where Fred was introduced to p@edo networks via arena Costellos pimp. Or London connections of West family, or the fact that social services turned a blind eye in full knowledge that rose prostituted 13 yo Anne Marie in pubs, etc etc-- but the fact is, as soon as connections get too close to certain people in the establishment, videos, articles etc get heavily sensored under the guise of “ graphic content”( which is a very convenient excuse, innit?) So, it really depends what you post. On other hand, “Worseley Paranormal “ on KZbin has spent 10+ years looking into sites of Brady murders & occult clues. Highly recommended, if you are interested.

Fun fact: bisexual Brady tried to hit on Tracup Poisoner in Broadmoor ( same psychiatric institution where Jimmy Saville was a honorary key holder , nope, not kidding) -- but Teacup Poisoner turned him down

Oddie, at 41:15 in an article about Brady’s lawyers refusal to submit briefcases with Brady’s writings to police: well, look into Brady’s book” The Gates of Janus”. Janus/Ouroboros/Amunra /Lucifer , same entity. It’s evident if you look at the cover of Brady’s book- a snake curled into figure 8( eternity) is resting over the face of Brady . That’s ouroboros symbolism & one eye of Ra symbolism ( very same symbols which modern day celebrities throw all the time , hand over one eye). The “ eye of Ra”( right eye closed left one open), “ eye of Horus”( the other way around) all have to do with resurrection & ritual sacrifice . Brady was using ancient Druidic sites on saddleworth moor to perform LITERAL sacrificial murders . Look up at ancient frescos of god Janus and you’ll see that , just like Saturn, Janus is depicted eating children . Brady/Hindley are photographed on the sites on the moor, historical locations ( sometimes near stone markers ) which clearly show associations with Druidic worship. Perhaps the others were involved. Perhaps the very fact of Druidic worship is described in Brady’s papers-- perhaps names are mentioned-- and hence, the powers that shouldn’t be are interested in non-disclosure of that fact to general public . Because Brady/Hindley were presented to public as two p@edo perverts; they were never disclosed to be ritual worshippers ( as they were). Brady WROTE about it( google “ The Gates of Janus” and see the Ouroboros version of the cover). Sh1tload of politicians/celebrities/lawmakers are kept within p@edo/ritual worship networks for the purposes of blackmail & puppet control “ from above”. Dutroux case ( wholesale abduction of children for “ punk ballet parties”( paedo ritual worship by high up politicians), Fred Rose West ( same as Dutroux, abduction/kidnap for networks), even natascha Kampusch case has strong evidence towards organised networks. Given level of protection/cover afforded to Brady & Hindley I genuinely believe that others were involved somehow , if not in actual murders per say but in distribution of snuff/porn filmed by the couple ( ask yourself why they filmed evidence incriminating them in murder? unless it was for selling snuff . Ask yourself who the buyers were. And then ask yourself why evidence is covered up, even some 30 (!!!)years later , perhaps the pollies involved are still alive & still have to be prosecuted ) Also ask why Brady kept balance of sexes so to speak in choosing his child victims: 2 boys. 2 girls. And and axe murder of , perhaps an accomplice ? Maybe David Smith & Maureen were on it& Smith only reported it when he realised that if Brady can so easily kill an accomplice ( Edwards), then perhaps he , Smith, could be next .

I grew up in New York. The evening news was full of this horrible story. As a child, I remember the fact that there had been a recording made during one of the murders. What a demonic and diabolical twosome. Hindley, cared more about the death of her dog "Puppet," but not for the children that were murdered by the hands of her and Brady. How ironic that Brady lived longer than Hindley, when they both should've been given the death penalty together. Condolences to the families of the children. Great story Oddie, as always.👍🏾

I honestly find it ironic and foreshadowing that the dog was named “Puppet.” It does sicken and sadden me that Hindley would be okay with the idea of committing murders with a guy “for the sake of love.” Me? I would’ve turned and run away. I can only hope that the families affected find some peace and justice in addition to having had the murderers in jail. Families have the right to handle whatever has happened to their deceased loved ones so long as the stakes are appropriate and just.

There is no justice for the families of murder victims, Oddie Beau...or, really, for the victims themselves, especially in cases like these, where the killers are given every consideration and accommodation. In 50 years of studying forensic investigation, reading about these cases for the first time 20 years ago, I was deeply, horribly shaken by them...and part of my horror came from how the families of those children were treated..... like little more than just another problem. There was no real punishment at all for the monsters who committed these crimes. They got their free housing,'feeding, and medical care for decades while the victims' families, suffering so horribly, had to help pay for it out of their taxes, as it is in other countries, as it is in mine. ..and the only thing we can hope for is that, at last, on their deaths, these two absolute monsters are now paying the price in absolute justice for their horrific crimes under another authority...at last. With the legal system being what it is, and with the offenders being coddled and catered to in every way, this is all that we can hope for, Oddie. There is nothing else we can do. There are now developments in crime scene investigation and technology that would make it highly possible to find the remains of the one little boy who has never been recovered...and there is a group here in the USA who specialize in it. If only the cops in the UK would consult them, that child's remains would, I'm sure, be found and finally restored to his family for decent burial. But I doubt that those arrogant investigators give a damn. Anyway....stay well, dear Oddie Beau. Thank you for speaking so well for victims of homicide. You're the best!!!

Very eloquently said my friend, we both feel the same about this continuing neglect of the victims and their families. In the last few years it has become shockingly apparent that the justice system covers up many crimes to protect certain powerful people. There is no justice in this world, at least not with the legal system. If that lawyer is actually withholding this information because he feels it is his right to do so, then I hope he can sleep well at night. Thank you so much for your positive feedback, I really appreciate it.

Yes, this story was familiar to me, but I doubt I ever read so much on the tragic details. Well done Oddie. I admit this one was a little hard to take in. Their dismissive cruelty. ..."not a care in the world"... indeed. In the end because the death penalty was not an option, Brady did suffer quite a bit from being kept alive. He so wanted to die, and was tortured by death's delay. Good! Execution would have given him the easy way out. Probably the only bright side to this very dark story.
@ObsoleteOddity

Thank you for persevering my friend, indeed it is a very difficult case to stomach. Yes I guess the fact that Brady didn’t want to live, and then he had to, was indeed the best punishment for him - and also the fact that Hindley wanted to get out and was never able to, was also the best outcome, at least in our current legal system.

Another wonderfully told story of a depraved couple, what a horrible cruel murderer it’s too bad they couldn’t get the death penalty. I feel so bad for the parents of Keith that never got their love ones body.😩 just another cruelty by Brady. I find it hard to believe that David was involved in any of the killings. It is disgusting that they had any rights let alone can still hold things over the victims families even after death. Makes me so angry and disgusted at our system over here. Things need to change! Excellent coverage of this entire Case. I had heard of it before but you Dear Oddie make it all come to life. Policing and Judicial constraints in the UK needs major reforms. Public hanging would have been very appropriate for those two. The UK and EU think that executing in these extreme cases is inhumane. In reality the keeping of them alive for the remainder of their useless lives only hurts the victims memories and their families in the knowledge that the murderers are treated well and fed out of the country's tax monies. RIP to all those children/teens but not the killers.

Sometimes two people meet, and the chemistry between them ignites something genius, beautiful, and profound. The reverse can also occur, when two people meet, and their chemistry/alchemy brings out the monsters they have inside them. Finding their deadly dance partner seems to free them up to indulge their cruellest and most depraved inclinations. Had they never met, is it possible that neither of them might have ever acted on those dark desires? We will never know. You have done another awesome job in sharing your talents, and an evil slice of human history with us. Your squirrel at the end cracked me up…I love your sense of humour my friend. Please give Richard’s and my love to Odette, and keep your share. Love and light.🥂🖤🇨🇦

I totally agree, I don’t think Myra would’ve went on to murder or anything close to it if she had met somebody else and got married; but who knows? I think Brady would have continued being a petty criminal and animal torturer, with increasing prison stays - but I don’t think he would’ve picked up the courage to act out his fantasies without his sidekick.

@@ObsoleteOddity Brady kind of epitomized the Nazi attitude, where evil is banal. It no longer has the power to shock the perpetrators. I expect he was devoid of any sense of empathy for anyone. If you can’t feel, or relate to others, you are capable of the most heinous acts. She, on the other hand, had the potential for a happy life…her misfortune (along with the victims and families), was in meeting Brady. He cultivated her to the point that his was the only opinion that mattered. Once having entered his world…there was no chance of her reform. They potentiated each other, like Bonnie and Clyde, or Bernardo and Homolka. Together, they were an explosively dangerous mix that moved both from fantasy to action. Each of them were broken…but so much more together. A true folli a deux in its very essence.🖤🇨🇦

To think that this horrendous couple count as vintage now, because I clearly remember the whole thing when I was a child. I remember the BBC reporter saying "A man is helping the Police with their enquiries" - and me saying to my Mum "That's nice of him isn't it, mum ?" The true meaning of that polite wording was of course that a suspect was being questioned by Police in connection with the crimes, but I was too young to realise that.

This story I remember reading in a true detective book, and I can remember feeling so disgusted by these crimes, and thinking how could a woman go along with this sinister man, but then thinking she was just as evil as well. Im glad that justice was done and that they both got life imprisonment without bail, I believe that they have both since passed away. Little Keith's body has never been found 😢. An excellent telling of the horrific story. I haven't looked much into the story recently, so I was quite impressed with the photographs you have assembled. Well-done, sir. I read "Beyond Belief" many years ago. Then, when the band "The Smiths" came on scene and I heard "Suffer Little Children", I knew immediately who they meant. Talk at the time was that the band's name was taken from the David Smith couple, though Morrissey's statements (that I know of) don't support that story.

Oddie, at first I wasn’t sure that I was even going to watch this video/story. Hearing about abused and murdered children, even though I know it happens, is still very sad to hear. These two were nothing less than monsters. And while they were caught, unfortunately there’s many more out there who will be doing these acts and worse. Sadly also is that even from the grave Hitlers hatred of the Jews is still happening. There is a request online to post “StandUptoJewishHate” (Emoji). Anyways, I’m off my soapbox. I’m on the fence about Erica Downey’s book for many reasons. Thank you for the laugh at the end. With the story being so gruesome, it was needed. Loved the Squirrel. I think most people who have studied this case in any depth are disturbed by it. As an American, who was just a toddler when the first murder occurred, I didn't learn of these murders until the 70s, when I was a teenager. There are only a handful of cases that gave me a visceral reaction. This was one of them. I hope both of them are barking in Hell.
