It’s 5AM and freezing outside. Nobody is there to cheer you on or pat you on the back, you’re sore and tired and cold, you’re wishing you were warm and in bed. Your mind has made a thousand excuses of why you should just stay home. The miles are lonely, the mornings are tough, sometimes it’s raining and it’s always dark when you start, but you know you have to go. You know you’ve come too far, you know that brick by brick you’re building the tower you wish to be. In it’s silence , this video captures the morning run, and all of our battles, but also the majesty of nature and the purpose it inspires in us. We’re out here, and you are not alone.

Its like 3 minute documentary that spreads the message without a single work being spoken. Well done with the creation. I remember Nick's old video where he mentions Casey's formula that for every video there has to be story being told that is the best example where you can tell a lot more with actions than words. As always Nick is on top of his game.

This video captures the beauty you often find when out on those runs. There is such peace and tranquility even when pushing your body through the aches and pains. Great job at capturing this beautiful glimpse of Gods creation.

So much was said without a single word being spoken. Also, personally, I love the shot at 1:20 with the pink kid car. It's so relatable and for whatever reason really spoke to me, as a father (the same age as you) with kids (one the same age as yours).

This is genuinely inspirational to me. Only started running last year, at the age of 55 so not in any way an athlete lol, but can relate to this. That said, Nick Bare makes it look fantastic (which it isn’t always!), and I love his message that you can build muscle and run too. I’ll not ever be comparable but just looking at the way he runs makes me think about posture and rhythm when I am finding it challenging - thanks Nick!

About one week ago, we had what might of been our last light snowfall in eastern Wisconsin (yea right). Just enough to cover ground. The night before it was raining as it often does in Wisconsin. Rain snow tornado all in a week. I could tell just beneath the dusting of snow we had was a light layer of ice. Just enough when you stepped outside at 4am for a morning run, all you could hear was the crunch under your feet. It was cold. I knew I had to embrace this as the morning was too crisp to pass up. I didn’t want to run but I’m so happy I did. This is also the first time I wore heavy gloves, the wind blew too hard for my normal cotton gloves with cutoff fingers. I don’t know if it was the gloves, though they definitely contributed to me being able to enjoy this weather one last time. The wind blew enough to lift that light layer of snow up and into your face. It wasn’t unbearable but it was enough to make you feel alive at 5 am running through the new subdivision in my neighborhood. It was one of my most favorite runs. Top three. You don’t get many runs like that
