Yes like any other human they've made mistakes without the guidance of a father in their lives but have learned to love each other and other people. Their story is really touching from a standpoint of showing that brotherhood is so important in life. Great story Morris Twins keep up the good work in the NBA

I was born in Lawrence in 1956. Didn't get to spend much time there, (1st for years). But it has always felt like home. Jayhawk Basketball even with it's flaws is one of the few things in sports I still pay attention to. I have never tried to contact the team, I have thought about it. What I would encourage them to do is Take Care of Each Other. The Twins Mom was the essence of this very principal. The Team always had a Mom when she was there. The Twins also taught a lesson to every Jayhawks Team after that. "No matter how Good you think your team is, Pride comes before a fall." V. C. U., OUUUCH! One of the Twins came face to face with the V. C. U. Players prior to the game and said "you guys had a great run, but it's over now." The game was lost before it started. Hard, hard lesson to learn. Stay humble, stay hungry and NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE YOUR OPPONENT. Maybe all fans do it, but that was one of the years the Jayhawks threw away a Championship, there were others. Their Mom was so important, still is. John 14:6

How are you feeling this week! NATIONAL CHAMPS!!! Edit: But yes, that VCU loss is still UNFORGETTABLE! We could have been champs in 2010 (UNI loss), and 2011. Then in 2012, that veteran team underestimated no one, went all the way to the title game. But that Kentucky team was too much.
@christophersleight192 жыл бұрын
@@twoquickii1330 I actually think if T Rob hadn't of been arrogant like the Twins (ripping down a rebound with Talons like an eagle only to stand proudly holding the ball with one hand and having A. Davis take it from him and lay it in, "thank you, I'll take that!") Missed dunks, bunnies. I really believe the Jayhawks could have won that game. But they didn't want it bad enough. For all KU haters, (I get it, really) Sorry, I believe between 2002 and 22 we left 7 potential championships on the table just thinking it was won before it was won. NIU, Iowa debacle. The Elijah nut punch, wow! VCU just not respecting your opponent. Getting man handled by Oregon, Villanova, Syracuse, loose by 3 on 15-31 free throws.... Wait, I sound like ESPN talking about North Carolina, forgive me.
@twoquickii13302 жыл бұрын
@@christophersleight19 I will never get over Syracuse. Considering we had Michael Lee and Bryant Nash as really the only subs we could put in...tired legs could have contributed to the 15-31 Free Throw numbers? As the Semifinals are played on a Saturday and the Championship Mondays. I can't quote the article but recently I read that teams with 2-3 reliable and productive substitutions win the title MUCH more often than a team with a thin bench. We greatly benefitted from Remy Martin (Midwest Region MOP), Mitch Lightfoot, and Jalen Coleman-Lands, even KJ Adams giving us HUGE minutes through the tournament. And really, we won this title due to Remy Martin, he's a type of guard that just simply knocks down difficult shots. We've run into so many players exactly like him over the years. Mike Bibby, Juan Dixon, Gerry McNamara. Those are just a few. But having Remy be completely fresh when he came off the bench was so invaluable. He was terrific. But yes...97 Arizona, 2002 Maryland, 2003 Syracuse, 2010 Northern Iowa, 2011 VCU, 2013 Michigan, 2016 Villanova (I hate that one...so close), and 2017 Oregon was horrible as the Regional Final was in KANSAS CITY! Yep, that's around 7-8 obtainable titles since the LATE 90s that were bad losses. That 2017 UNC title team did only beat Oregon by 1 point though...still, no moral victories. The 2018 Villanova team set a record for first half three pointers made in the entire NCAA tournament though...I tip my cap to them. 2005 Bucknell was probably the worst loss due to how much of a veteran team we had. But 2011 team was title bound, as the brackets had fallen apart...so VCU is about the worst for me. I don't know if we were good enough in 2013 to win it all, but that collapse against Michigan was giant. The years that were the best team left, or the best team period and lost were: 1997, 2003, 2010, 2011, 2016. IMHO.
