I think the main issue with "positionless" development is it neglects basket fundamentals. Understanding the big mans role is, in my opinion, the 1st stage of learning the art of the game. THEN you start getting fancier & more nuanced like a guard, because now his nuance is that he can be an objectively advantaged finishing big yet thinks he needs to rely on guard traits.

Dude I’ll tell you I’m 6’5 I had play big a lot in my youth you have no idea just the frustration you have playing with a big guy 6’8 + and he can’t do a consistent post hook or layup

I agree with this. Big development should be from the inside out not the outside in. But a lot of it has to do with these bigs growing up as guards and then having a massive growth spurt around age 13-15 as well.

Mobility and Athleticism is there on the defensive end. He has that Kevin Garnett Mobility on the defensive end, on the offensive end, he just needs consistency, he has a 3 ball and can roll to the hoop, add a little more polish on his post game and add more IQ, he'll be extremely valuable to any team.

I think defensively, he’s good on that side. Offensively he has a lot of work, but I can definitely see the high potential still there.

@@TerranovaBasketballStudy- will say though, watching the clips you had on here, the amount of near the rim shots he’s missed and open lays up and put back is very very concerning when he’s so tall and should be able to make those shots

Even with sarrs struggling on offense, defensively i think he could shine. He's so mobile that on switches he can defend outside with questionable technique. The offense can get developed, but he definitely needs to learn to play as a big primarily, and learn basic wing/forward skills so he can operate as a 5/4. I'd like to see how he develops next season after Washington figures out who they're drafting and the roster.

Imagine what these clips would look like if he was on a team with some good and experienced players?

Back in Perth he wasnt allowed to shoot this many 3s, idk if it's good for him or not but he def shouldn't be shooting more 3s than 2s. He'll be a good NBA player but i hope in time he doesnt shoot like 7 threes a game but can still be somewhat of a threat from 3

If he insists on playing more outside in he should study boris diaw hed be doing really well if he played lile diaw.
