@@rumahpilihankeluarga7286 An ottoman is a low cushioned bench or stool that usually goes with a larger chair, and is designed to be used as a foot rest. The only thing I would add would be a table, to hang on the wall across from the large bed, to set up at the bed, with those 2 other bed pieces being extra seating. (smaller of course) Perfect for getting together for a meal with friends. Oh, and make drop down legs for the bed too Living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, and bath. OUTSTANDING!!!!

Just a little tip for you guys: most of the people who are looking into these video's or just looking up information about these houses useually aren't your reggular guy alraight. They know their shit and they know why they would want a house like that. These people don't care where the bed is, or how big the bathroom is. They care about the electrical, the sanitairy, the build quallity, options and pricing, maintenance and expandabillity! Maybe you could make more in debth videos covering these topics in the future as they are things people really want to know. Thanks!

Agreed. He doesn't discuss it in the video, but the design process and the structural insulated panels that they made this tiny home out of are AMAZING. My question is how does one get in the tub? I mean the rim is nearly waist height on the designer. So either you would have to sit on the edge and swing your legs over, which doesn't seem pleasant because the tub is wood, or would have to get a step stool.

There is no couch or comfortable place to lounge, no place to put a TV and no place to eat. Many of us will be doing long term travels in these-just taking the whole paradigm back to it's original function, albeit farther distances or swankier weekends without kids-work-obligation-I am inspired myself on how we are in a unique time when so many ages of humans are alive and we can empart and share knowledge-human emotions - and when expressed as creative endeavors- all designers are artists of a more precise caliber.

There is a lot to like about this home, but there are several details that could be improved upon. Several have mentioned the bed that sits at an angle making it unusable (I can see myself rolling over my wife in the night) and this needs to be redesigned, I can think of a couple solutions off the top of my head. The cabinets in the kitchen being open as they are would drive my wife insane, and if you move the home while living in it would be catastrophic. You would have to pack up everything before moving, this negates the point of a tiny home on wheels. I agree with others about the need for a freezer, though the drawer fridge is a good idea. I know people like to think they are providing ample storage, but this kitchen could be made to be far more efficient and increase storage much more than it is. I am a design takes a back seat to function kind of person. I think you can have both, but it takes a good bit of thought to utilize the spaces at their maximum. A last thought about the overall structure (even though it is by no means a last thought), has to do with aerodynamics. I know this house is made to be parked by all the design choices, but the front of any tiny home on wheels should not be made as an air ram, flat and unforgiving. This is something I have thought for many years, since I have been following this movement in tiny living. The space at the front of the trailer comes to a V form which can be used in any number of ways for added storage, with the benefit of reducing drag when pulling these behemoths behind a one ton truck.

agree, and you can actually put a fold up table on the other side of the bed to use in the day time. Perfect configuration if you do not have high ceiling space
@stevef18407 жыл бұрын
It's usually due to how difficult it is to implement properly. Even in this video, the bed is not deploying level. It's a bit of a challenge for a first time installer to put them in correctly. The other issue is a limitation of the types of mattresses you can use. You cannot exceed the spring rating or it'll have a tendency to open for no good reason (too light will make it hard to open), and you're also height limited based on how close to the wall the pivot is placed. That said, you need to know exactly what you want/need before you install it.
@jsalonin7 жыл бұрын
Agree, i can imagine it will be must harder to install and work well. Like this murphy bed with table is wider and so take more space kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWnJY3tprsxrebc But would give a lot of extra comfort and utility for the home if done probably. I am a fan of the way the bed is build to take less space, and you do not need a high ceiling or permanently room only for a bed.

Do you know what brand the marine heater is
@JohnS-zq8ks7 жыл бұрын
No. The narrator mentioned that. It may be on a spec sheet on their web site.

Ya'll leave this man alone about his interior design of his Tiny home Damn.

I agree. Too many perfectionists.

the fact at they always have to take away from the actual living space to make it livable is annoying. i need a space for my tv and comfortable space to relax.

a Murphy Bed; makes Perfect Sense, who woulda thought. Cute guy too!

Very clever indeed, except for those open cupboards and bookshelf. I can only imagine everything falling all over the place on the first turn.

These really are not meant to move. They're constructed on trailers mainly to avoid zoning laws and such.
@scottpreston50746 жыл бұрын
Chuck Glenn. Unfortunately, the zoning laws are very prejudiced against tiny houses going on a foundation. I think they want us living in debt for forty years -- it's good for the bankers.

This is honestly one of the most beautiful builds I've ever seen (Thanks for making this video!). WELL DONE :)

More expensive than a 66' single wide manufactured home.
@paulpaul9576 жыл бұрын
They don't tell because the price is over $500,000, if it was reasonable they would tell. Not worth more than 50k IMO.
@alamalradio28316 жыл бұрын
Paul Byvtary if you dont know enough informations about tiny houses dont blabla! Tiny houses are made for poor people not rich ones! This tiny house its not more than 20K ! Bigger ones with alot of technologie are 70K! There is no tiny house costing 500k$!
@charruz4 жыл бұрын
@@paulpaul957 I honestly can't see how it would be worth $50k

Honestly I hate the design and the box like feel. It doesn't feel natural or homie. Feels prepackaged and cheap like so many are attempting right now. That's seriously not why the movement happened. Freedom of expression, creativity, natural building, building without the pressures of modern society, and a return to the home feeling you can't get from modern boxie houses... This... This is just a sad attempt to make quick money and make "sameness" occur in the tiny housing movement. Mass production isn't "clever". It's exactly what people are trying to escape from. That horrible horrible empty feeling...

Not the most cleverly designed tiny house, but it certainly is a very impressive effort.

not one of my favorite homes …it looks to much like pre fab, i know it is, but it looks cheep…no personality .
