The power of this isn't that it's a move--it's that every touch sets up to leverage the threat of the shot the most possible. Apart from that, the cutback moves have to do with counting steps and being able to be quicker to the ball in any situation, which is both agility and perfect placement of the ball against the run of gravity and timing breakdown of movement coordination/steps.

@sameeisrar64275 жыл бұрын
If you mean in the air, always keep you eye on the ball. Never take you eyes off it. This way you can easily follow the ball, and while you see where it's going, you slowly move that direction and catch the ball before it lands. You can also make it harder for yourself, by releasing the ball on your first touch ( like a volley). You always have to glue you eyes to the ball though, and follow it.
@Unknown-zi7wx5 жыл бұрын
Sainava Modak You must experience these moments and perfect them in every way. You might have a bad touch? Bad predictment? Try to experience the moments you’re having difficulties with more times.

Keep ur eyes on ur ball then when the ball is near ur foot move ur foot a little back a little to cushion it,u can practice dis by using a wall ,throwing it and keep ur eyes on it then control it

Btw if you really want to know how to do it only use the 1st comment while you're still learning, cuz that won't be as useful as it sounds in a real match cause there isn't only the ball and you, you have to be aware of defenders and your teammates.

How about doing a Maradona turn / roulette instead of the touch because you don't need to decelerate and you still have all of your momentum. Also, you are protecting the ball extremely well ; they would need to foul you to get the ball 👍🏻
@lonestarr14905 жыл бұрын
A Maradona turn is taking the larger angle: so instead of a 45° direction shift, you take the 135°. And it's not so easy not losing your orientation by doing so. Also it's not really that much faster, since you also need to slow down a bit in order to not trip over your own feet and you move your upper body way more. The best thing about the Maradona turn or the Marseille roulette is the element of surprise. The defender does not expect it and it's almost impossible to predict the direction in which you're heading afterwards. So it should be used with a sense of proportion. That said, RB Leipzig's Matheus Cunha recently scored an awesome goal in the Bundesliga using such a move (without a shift in direction): kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5C4dp2odqyagcUm20s

Your movement off the ball is really important, fast play could create space and well as holding onto the ball which either drags the defenders onto you, or they decide to back off in order to avoid through passes going through.this all creates space for you to pass to or move into respectively.
