Its frustrating because it allows him to dictate the pace. Its also annoying because its as clear as day what hes doing, but the fact that he can keep doing it and systematically is annoying. Its not flashy, its not common, its just frustrating. He runs so like Martial said there's several options. 1. Dont engage and force him to come forward. Thats a 5 round fight so automatically you have to be ready for a long fight with this style. He's not coming forward lol. 2. Wrestle, but he's already attacked your ego with his running and pepper punching. Probably already got a rock in from chasing him with frustration. 3. Methodically break him down and take things away that he is use to. Micro step the sidekick to the legs l, and time his straights. Easier said then done, but since its a system eventually it can be figured out.

The reason you struggle against that guy is because you don't feint and you don't move laterally to cut the cage well. That dude has very good long range distance management, timing, and rythm. I found out something pretty funny recently. Ranked from div 5 to about div 10-12 you can literally win by going in and out of range they whiff a kick bang, hit with a cross while they are out of Stamina,in the middle of whiffing a kick, coming toward you and off balance. It kinda hurts my head that people who are lv 60-99 keep whiffing kicks while watching themselves get counterd every time and continue to do it I am no means a great player but I don't get how people can be lv 70 and and literally not using their brain just pressing forward and pressing combos.

@@NewAgeSlaves It’s a cheese strat. The way he’s throwing all his strikes laterally manipulates the camera and nullifies all head movement. This, along with the fact that the lead leg side kick to the leg effectively has no counter, as Martial explained in the commentary, is why it’s a cheese strat. This guy is a lame dork and contributes to the many reasons why UFC 4 ranked is a mess.

Try to time it to where you’re throwing a lead leg front kick at the same time and they aren’t too fond of that, the lead leg (body or head) front kick pushes them away from the range in which they’d be able to hit your back foot

When I face that type of player I just play "King of the hill" in the center of the octagon , barely moving so he's forced to actually go forward and engage after watching himself moving stupid for no reason while I'm standing in the middle. Gotta mess with 'em and not chase.

Definitely, the one techniquemissing from the game is the ability to catch a kick, and then pass the leg to the outside of your body and strike, or transition to a takedown. Leg kick catching will change this game up in a huge way.
