Best ride is very subjective. For me the best rides are when you never pay attention of the winner until he past the line in first (look at Peslier, dettori, Moore, soumillon rides)

the amount of sweat on those horses in the 3rd or 4th race tells me that the ownwers are assholes and are running rthe life out of those horses for greed and trying to make as much as they can in one day at the expense of the horse. When i worked as a trainers and vets helper i managed to get dozens of horses scratched for the entire day and weeks more down the road. they all caame at me and tried to intimidate me but back then i was aa big big dude, and no one screwed with me and those trainers found out the hard way. and yes i dropped a few of them with a quick right putting them to sleep. I loved my job. then i moved onto a hunter jumper farm same job and these snobby little twits thought they could run to daddy and stomp their feet and cry to geth their own way. well daddy was on our side and said ok sideline the horse. i loved my job i started mucking stalls and worked my way up. I loved telling the morons jockeys and hunter jumpers they were a scratch.
