Just bought my Hellcat a few weeks ago, used this same strategy. Also know the NADA values for the car to make sure your on point. I also reference EBay and Online sites for the price point.

Good info Mike. But not sure what your point is regarding getting what you want from the dealer. The dealer stood firm on what they would offer - so you used your credit union. Dealer didn't do anything but sell you the car. Your point regarding going to your bank is really important. You will never get a dealership to match your bank rate - ever. My credit is in the mid 800's and when I was purchasing my Scatpack, I was dealing with an IL dealer - the worst dealers in the US by the way, and even though he knew my credit he tried to offer me a rate that was 1.5% higher than my bank. This even after I warned him not to pull any garbage, that I'm a straight shooter etc... and will make a deal if he can do so and so. Nope, the dummy still tried to take advantage of me and after a few choice words with him I let them be and purchased elsewhere. Your bank knows you, and has a ongoing relationship with you, you will never find a dealer to match the bank rate. Dealer makes too much extra coin over the life of a loan even if its a half percent higher.

Glad you enjoyed your time and sorry about the insects , yea they like the beach also. Prob dog flies or yellow flies both have painful bites. Typically not a problem on the beach but inland on sounds and waterways sand knats or widgens when there's little or no wind are a problem × thousands. Drive safely and try not to speed.

Yes. But if you make inquiries to different lenders, the credit bureau recognizes that and your credit does not get lowered with each inquiry.

My credit is terrible the dealership offered me a 21 percent rate ... I went to my credit union I got a 5.05 rate he’s talking facts .. you bring your own money you have the advantage saved me 1500 dollars

Kevalia2093 till Color-wise? The GWE has a lot more flake in the paint, to the degree that it sparkles A LOT in the sunshine. Sublime has a lot less flake. I like both colors. Performance-wise, naturally the Hellcat is much more powerful and responsive. The 392 at that time had 470HP (compared to 485 now).

Actually....BAD ADVISE. Way to long of video to get to the point! Here's the REAL lesson: He spent many, many months making phone calls, visiting dealerships, internet research and talking to banks and ultimately trying to find that STEAL at a dealership (making sure that no dealership made money on him - therefor stealing from other hard working families).....all to save $20 per month! Take into account all that WASTED time.....he saved ZERO. Great job, buddy! I just wonder if he allows his customers or clients to negotiate his compensations down to FREE too? You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

That has to be one of the dumbest comments I've ever read,so to make it simple,wake up one day and say I want such and such car.Then go to a dealership or wherever and just start paying whatever it is they want you to pay...Nope not me either.and your right it does take time but its surely not wasted time.Especially when I see a friend or a neighbor,who paid thousands more than me for the same car...Mike did it right
