@commandershepard9920 no dumb question at all! It is a mod, and one of the few difficulty mods I think are out there for RE2R (as opposed to say re4r). And playing -hardcore- on this mod is definitely where it's at!

My personal thoughts: 1. I personally like the RE0 guy because it's too tame but his voice is gravelly and super smooth delivery on the 'Zero'. 2. The menu announcer for Operation Raccoon Shitty is actually one of my absolute favorites. 3. The cringe from Mercs 3D and Umbrella Chronicles is def because it's too wordy. Makes you very aware of the feeling that dude is just reading a script.

My introduction to the RE series was with Outbreak (and the movies). I only had a ps2 and I'm from a country where copies of CV and RE4 were much more difficult to find than Outbreak (and not because they sold better, for some reason, Capcom pushed a lot of Outbreak copies to my country). As a kid the intro cutscene and the voice were traumatizing for me, I was one of those kids that thought that Resident Evil was scarier than Silent Hill because the monsters in Silent Hill were goofy monstrosities and RE monsters were to some degree believable (failed biological experiments). Anyway, the intro cinematic and the voice scared me from playing the game at night. I would play scary games during the day and games like MGS during the night.
