It's shocking to me that people even take NSAIDs anymore. I'm an RN and used to work in an endoscopy department and one of the doctors there told me that half of his business came from NSAID and the other half from antibiotic overuse! That's basically how he made his money and I personally have had horrible problems from NSAIDs and cannot even take one aspirin without severe pain in my stomach!

I loved this content and made a lot of notes. I ordered Vit C and will start taking Vit B again. That was new information for me that these two can help with pain. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thanks so very much Dr. Osborne for putting all this amazing information in one video! I am searching for well-rounded natural solutions for a woman who has had many ailments, including pain, all her life, and due to an ileostomy plus other major surgery and other problems has had a very restricted diet (not healthy in my opinion) that she had learned to enjoy with various cheeses, spices and sauces, but now has developed Interstitial Cystitis, requiring elimination of some of these foods. I feel sure that MSAIDs would have exacerbated ongoing developments of poor health, and of course these only increase as pain gets worse. Since she is further debilitated by IC pain, I hope to help by having appropriate prepared food available, and to re-invent some of her favourite sauces, perhaps sneaking some beneficial herbs into the mix? It does not help that she has super-smell, super-taste, (gourmet?) preferences, but it’s good exercise for me to research and educate myself to come up with the best plan to make her more comfortable with good nutrition. We all want to have really good-tasting food. The other thing I started to do is to pray fervently for her, using all the weapons in my arsenal in this war against illness. There was improvement overnight, as from being bed-ridden and unable to walk or even think clearly one day, she managed to go out the next day with her little girl for a few hours. Blessings! from Canada 🇨🇦

Pardon me, but I can't help but state how incredibly effective is hypnotherapy for chronic pain. This is a mind over matter approach, the reverse of your approach. Some physicians learn about the subconscious mind, which controls the nervous system and the muscles; not enough. Hypnosis was accepted by the American Medical Association in 1957. It is sometimes used as the spoke anesthetic agent in major surgery!

Hi, some people recommend against any hypnosis, because it opens you up to influences that you have no control over in that vulnerable state. (No need to reply, it’s just that I have heard this over and over, by people who had to deal with it).
@Acetyl53
@Acetyl53 5 ай бұрын
Self hypnosis for "autoanalgesia" is the only way to go in this, I'd say. You should only diminish the conscious mind such that trance induction and increased suggestibility will be accepted from itself (internal objects). No external object should be allowed to do this. It does work, I arrived at it indirectly. There are some functional consequences though. The body and mind may be puppets for the "I", but they still have mechanical limitations. When you tamper too much with the underlying architecture, or try to program in some systems, you'll find it introduces degraded performance in others.

@@Acetyl53 It sounds as if you've lost a patient(s) or experienced something due to drug interactions or from overdose. My sympathies if true. Personally, I was given glucose laden baby formulas as an infant & was never breast fed. I've advertently & inadvertently ingested many toxins & poisons from a variety of plants, seeds, molds, alcohol, mercury, lead, fumes etc. throughout my life as most of us unfortunately do. Now at 70 I still smoke & consume all forms of sugar yet in moderation. However, my diet's predominantly animal based with high quality egg yolks, never over heated to preserve all the essential nutrients & especially the choline & folate in order to optimally nourish & heal my liver & brain. Imo, all is fair in love & war is the most damaging phrase there has ever been. Well wishes.
