Physical therapist here. The coin launching off the girls ankle appears to be the tendon of the fibularis brevis and or longus muscle displacing anteriorly past the lateral malleolus of the fibula under a specific tension like a slingshot. The superior and inferior peroneal retinaculum holds them back which indicates there is a weakness or tear in the retinacula. doing this voluntarily will most likely wear those tendons. As someone who lifts weights and works out, I can confirm that while muscle cramps(especially the ones that you get when stretching a muscle) can be incredibly painful, there are also other involuntary muscle movements that do not cause much if any discomfort. I've sat down and seen the muscles in my calves contract and spasm around wildly, yet they caused no real discomfort aside from looking weird. That said, I do not know if the spasms we saw in the video came with sweet pain or not.

Oh my‼️ After watching the TV series, ‘War of the Worlds’ - - if I saw one of those metal dogs, I’d be terrified. In that series, those creepy dogs killed humans‼️ In the first episode of season 1, a very young girl was hiding in a grocery store container - - it put a long metal spike into her forehead😱‼️😭 Edit: it’s on the EPIX channel, started in 2019.

I know somebody who was an olympic athlete (track and field) - and an athletic director and coach of track and field - who told me that muscles cramps in the legs are more than likely due to the fact that when you do extreme exercise for your particular body (like marathons, etc.) - the heart and lungs, of course, need the additional blood circulation to them - so what happens is that the blood pools from the the outer extremeties into the heart and lungs (where it is needed) - this causing the cramping in those outer extremities. (I don't know if this is true, but this was his explanation).

@@Marc_Fuchs_1985 I should have prefaced this comment and said this happened moreso earlier in my cycling journey, before I understood the importance of nutrition and hydration, especially on longer rides (happened on my first attempt at a 50 miler). I actually keep electrolyte pills and make sure to add supplements into my water when planning for a longer ride now, typically anything above 40 miles. Needless to say...totally agree with you! Great tip.

Tip: If you ever get a calf cramp, flex your foot and leg so it’s exactly straight. You may need to bend the knee, but as long as you keep your foot directly pointed, it’ll subside.
