You’re so right about bowling alleys. If it doesn’t look like it’s somewhere between 1975 and 1999 in there, I don’t want to be a part of it. Our local alley renovated the arcade in the front of the alley, but everything else has that retro quality. It’s owned by a former pro bowler, so I think he gets what people want, which is cheap old fashioneds in a dimly-lit wood paneled bar, cheap pitchers of beer, and giant baskets of fries.

I don't know if anybody remembers the National Geographic series spin off of Doomsday Preppers called "Doomsday Castle" had multiple episodes but was pretty entertaining to watch and I think Chris should cover it and give us that funny banter we all come here for.

Am I the only one who thinks Jon describing the bartender situation sounds like the start of a bad improv sketch? "Your scene: the regular bartender has gotten into a car accident. She's fine, but she will not be able to come into work today. You are a hairstylist by day, and must step in to serve the locals their drinks."

Fun fact!! My dad was a "pin setter" back in the day, when he was a teenager. There were no machines that put the bowling pins back up after you rolled your ball down the alley. So, subsequently bowling alleys hired kids to set up the pins. The more you know!!!!!!!!!

The only worthwhile episode is the one where he repairs the Krajo Bar in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, a since he did some charity work here in the island and promote tourism a little bit. But also since he hosted a dating show here in a Marriot hotel in the same town where the bar is located at.

EDIT: If my maths is correct Jon literally only paid 1% of his debt and acted like it was a huge deal lol I mean sure it HELPS I guess but it's not the groundbreaking amount he's bigging it up to be.
