Iirc, he doesn’t include rereleases. What he did forget is the Gigabell from Bowser’s Fury. That’s an OP power-up exclusive to that game(mode), while SMB: The Lost Levels doesn’t add any OP power-ups.

Green Yoshi is an all-rounder, the other ones make the same and it doesn't matter what shell they eat, while the green one can have the effect of the others depending on the shell it eats, red shell releases 3 fireballs, purple shell gives it wings and yellow shell makes it stomp a little earthquake

The Fire Flower is OP in the original Super Mario Bros. because you can defeat any enemy with fireballs except for Buzzy Beetles and Podoboos. As for Mario 3, the Hammer Suit since the hammers can defeat enemies like the Thwomps and the shell can protect you from fireballs while crouching, and the Tanooki Suit because the statue form can take out enemies too like the Roto Discs

Yoshi isn't that great in Sunshine. I feel Mario spinning around as he uses FLUDD or Mario sliding on the ground right after using FLUDD is more overpowered.

New super Mario bros 2 titles was like that it was obvious Nintendo wasn’t going to have name it new super bros bros. (3DS) then people would not buy it so they just went with calling it 2 since they already have a game on the DS and since it was a game on a 3DS it made sense for them to call it 2
