Rules need to be put in place. No filming kids under the age of 12 and for those who are being filmed they need to have 50% of the money that their parents made from them
@iolacola9 ай бұрын
1000%. I’d go further though and mandate that no children should be on these apps, period. They can’t consent to it legally so idk how it’s *still* a thing after all these years (lie: I do, and it’s sweet skrilla for the SM companies 😒). It’s crazy that just because it’s online that children allowed to work full-stop; it’s not like child labour laws don’t exist - they’re even considerably longstanding & are otherwise very strict. A 10 year old isn’t allowed to pick up shifts at McDonald’s, so how on earth is it then acceptable for them to be actively working being filmed & receiving payment for services, which garners actual income (albeit likely via the parents, hence the loophole) and it’s all fine n dandy? The latter is also far more fraught & open to actual child abuse, exploitation and overwork (evidently many shit parents have proven their gross selfishness & insatiable desire for clout & cash-accumulation supersedes any fleeting concern they may have had for their own kids, tragically). If minors - rightly - cannot legally be employed to work at a publicly-listed company (which ironically would in many cases actually be preferable, for such an employer is also answerable to various entities, and the workplace would be far more transparent, perhaps safer, due to employee protections, labour laws & government/external scrutiny - as opposed to two deplorable f’wits who consider their kids more as rapidly-depreciating assets than human beings, who decided to hijack their kids’ childhoods for some quick coin - veiled largely behind closed doors w scant oversight). Anyhoo here’s hoping something changes, bc I really do feel terrible for the kids. Cash can never be exchanged for a happy childhood & memories, unconditional love, a proper education, respect for privacy & crucially, the freedom to make one’s own life choices - including not wanting our likenesses to be broadcast on the expansive, vile creepfest that is the internet _ad infinitum_ 😔Anyhoo. Sorry for the rant, but thanks for making it through my soapbox diatribe regardless 😉🙏☺️

I’d say don’t film your kids until puberty is over and consent is given. Kids are vulnerable in every way possible and it only gets worse during puberty. If they don’t understand it they shouldn’t be on it.

Being so close, he’s more likely to drive by on his way somewhere and he has the excuse of “I wasn’t driving by your house, it was just on the way to my destination.” If he lived further out of the way, it would be a little more questionable as to what he was doing if she caught him creeping by the house.

I mean would you rather the child stay with the awful family? Giving that child to a better family was probably the only good thing they did for the kid
@FukaiKokoro9 ай бұрын
Not Justifying it because clearly it's immoral to adopt a child if there's even a minor chance you may change your mind. Unfortunately it's a common thing in the adoption world for them to lie about health and mental health issues a child may have. Obviously in this situation THEY KNEW about the mental health and health issues. The whole infertility industrial complex is fucked because the laws are way behind in times. Like with surrogacy. The genetic mother isn't legally the mother een though it's her DNA. The woman who gives birth is legally the mom. Anyways there's so many things in the world of adoption and infertility stuff that's messed up and weird. This case shows exactly why people need to stop saying "just go adopt" to infertile people. You don't know how many times I've heard that when I was trying to hae kids. Like adoption isn't the right situation for everyone. Adoption isn't for everyone and that's fine. Not everyone can handle the mental health or physical health issues that come along with the child.. it's a hard and complicated thing. At least in this horrible situation the kid is away from those awful people.

Knowing them it wouldn’t surprise me if they created this entire scenario to make a “getting back together” video so they can rake in the revenue from that content 😂😅

I have hated drinking water my entire life. And if there is anything I hate more then drinking water, it's smelling fruits and/or fruit like scents. But with the way Papa Meat is filming these ad reads, I am definitely going to check out Air Up.

Glad to see you seem to enjoy doing this a lot more now that you don’t have so much pressure from having to upload on the animation channel constantly. All the videos you do make end of the day destressing alot easier. Thanks papa.

They haven't even filed for divorce. It's all a marketing ploy. It's sad the damage being laid upon those children. It's truly pathetic.

Its sad to see how people like that use there family as a way to make money with out thinking of the outcome. Like 5 years from now when there kids are older (or maybe even now) they might get bullied or called out for being that one fail family KZbin channel with the crazy father and the dependent mother. Like come on people, think about your kids and there future. KZbin money wont last forever. Any who, another amazing video from Big Papa Meat himself. Keep up the great work and please for the love of god don't ever stoop to the level of those family youtuber channels.

For midwesterners, "30 minutes away" is just the standard distance for all things
@three7446Ай бұрын
I’d say that common for most American towns anywhere tbh. Bigger cities often have things closer together but the traffic can make it take forever to get there so at times they can relate to that too lol. Only Europeans would find 30 minutes far because their infrastructure is closer together

I wanted to say I really appreciate the yellow bar to indicate when you’re sponsoring, thankyou Hunter and your editor for that. Also I appreciate that you hardly ever say like and subscribe.

Just a reminder, you should not feel embarrassed about being a KZbinr because you're self aware enough to realize how bizarre it is that it can be a way to make money. And your content is genuine, your art is great, and you don't feel like a shit head. I just don't understand how anyone can watch this Austin guy and his family and not feel grossed out by the whole thing. It just feels fake and disingenuous and weird.
