There are hundreds if not thousands of videos of people rescuing abandoned farm animals. I always wondered how anyone can have animals in such disrepair, but now I understand. It would have to be an owner like Boogie. I can 100% picture how he can destroy a farm, blame something else and make himself the victim while his farm animals suffer. Which he will also make all about himself.
@a_rat_named_mouse3 ай бұрын
Back when I was living on a ranch, we raised pigs. All of these pigs descended from one pig we'd gotten from a run-down, abandoned farm. It was in a "shed" that was maybe three inches taller than the pig itself, completely dark and filled to my fucking knee with liquified shit slurry. The pig was also accompanied by the corpse of its mate. Which it had been eating from for some time. Unsurprisingly, Boogie reminds me a lot of owner- always shifting blame, backstepping from responsibility, refusing to talk about their own actions, making themselves out to be the one in distress and hyper-focusing on their goal (in this case, getting rid of the pig).
@crimsonpotemkin3 ай бұрын
@@a_rat_named_mouse things like this make me mad. I'm not some hippie neo green life vegan type, but man, we as humans have a duty to the animals we've domesticated over thousands of years. We've dominated them, messed with their genetics with selective breeding, we decide whether or not they breed, we kill and eat them at any age we desire. At the very least we owe it to them to take proper care of them. If humans have mastered the world, then it comes with a responsibility. That's my belief at least. So I really can't stand seeing abandoned pets and farm animals. It's so inhumane. Way to go saving that pig though. Respect!

The whole covert narcissism thing is a term that should be used by hyper specialists on the fringes of research and practice. It, like many terms have been pathologically coopted by people like boogie or as pointed out in video, "crazy chicks". It's misunderstood. All narcissist like Boogie cycle in and out of overt and covert behavior. You've all seen it, it happens when he's feeling good about himself and has a big cathartic rush. Like the end of the Tattoo segment. He's inventing a narrative about how this is him turning his life around. He's in elation essentially, and starts thinking grandiose again. When he's dejected and sympathy baiting is the lowest "1% health voice", his ego is wounded and the only option is to fawn response "ohhh look how fat and harmless I am leave me alone pwease" The telltale sign I think that boogie is a real narcissist regardless of what hyper specialized term he wants to hide behind to totally claim to be a sympathetic one; he can only cycle between a kind of fight response, and a fawn response. Watch how he rapidly switches between those two. when the manipulation doesn't work he flops to the other. He's rolling over showing his belly and Destiny doesn't take the bait, he flips out and reacts disproportionately. He can only be in fight mode or fawn mode. There are levels of sophistication there, but as people keep pushing he keeps getting boiled down to those two modes of being. We never see the real Steven in any of these videos because there is no Steven. They are a shell of false acts and identities wrapped around the memory of some traumatized child, who, unfortunately is long been dead. Morbid, I know, but Rag's was actually spot on calling him a simulacrum "a simulation of something that doesn't exist." Bingo. Oh one more thing. It's an additional layer to the fawn response but if he ever admits wrong doing he'll try and warp it to being a self sacrificial heroic move. he will shift the narrative to being a martyr. That's why the tattoo means nothing.

Making amends and acts of contrition over time, are also a requirement to show sincerity and a willingness to change.

I have a theory that I can't substantiate or back up with any meaningful evidence. More of a feeling than a theory. I would not be surprised if it comes out that Boogie is far better off financially than he's been saying. Here's why I think this. It's been floated that boogie is addicted to humiliation and has a humiliation kink/fetish. I don't think that's what it is. I think he is addicted to the feeling of Sympathy. Watching back on Mauler's edit of Boogie's career so far, I was reminded of just how early in his career he's been sympathy farming. I think he likes to create situations for himself that make people give sympathy over a long term. Things like constantly brining up his abuse (which is now in question), the cancer, being swatted and bullied online and of course, the biggest one of late, being in a dire financial situation. The main reason I believe this is thus; For what feels like the last 5 or so years, Boogie has been in a horrendous financial situation. Every time he is mentioned, his lack of money and income is mentioned with it. I don't know what his income is like and this may be horseshit but I can't shake the feeling that if his finance was as bad as he says it is, he'd have gone completely broke a long time ago. I think him CONSTANTLY bringing up how broke he is, feeds into his addiction for being the victim and that's something that he has had going for some time. Again, no evidence beyond a hunch but I just can't shake the feeling that he's bullshittng about this too. It may be that I'm just questioning everything about him now but there you go.
@the_absurd_hero2 ай бұрын
I get it.. If Boogie was in as bad a financial situation as he's said for 5+ years, I would expect him to have had his house foreclosed upon, his possessions either sold off or repo'ed, and/or his waged garnished... And I would certainly have expected a declaration of bankruptcy. Given none of those things have happened (as Booglesworth would surely have whined about it publicly), the sympathy addiction seems a logical conclusion. Also, humiliation fetishes (not that they have to have a sexual element to them) usually involve drastic power imabalance, with the humiliated enjoying being taunted or embarrassed by someone else. Boogie loves himself too much to actually enjoy the humiliation, and I reckon his resignation to it is merely a defense mechanism that allows him to ignore the taunting (because he's utterly unwilling to change himself in other ways that would nullify/invalidate the reasons for being taunted). But I, also, have no real evidence for this, so take it with a grain of salt.

Man who can't take care of himself wants to have a farm and take care of animals? That's not funny. Farming is at least 70% discipline. If Boogie's discipline was score it wouldn't be just negative, it would be double digits negative. On a scale from 0-10.

I never saw where the "twitting my tipples" came from, so seeing it here was glorious. And good lord, what the hell even is going on with Boogie? His screaming is both hilarious and pathetic. Also, does anyone else think Az and Fringy sound similar to each other and can't tell which one is speaking?

I’m surprised that Keemstar and his LolCow crew didn’t get condemned more. They know that Boogie is terrible but keep enabling his behavior. The “Liar” tattoo on his face? Bullcrap. If they really wanted to get rid of Boogie, they would have called the cops on him a long time ago, not playing pretend with the meaningless tattoo. Boogie keeps thriving with this because the system allows him to.
@lusasedoux4793 ай бұрын
The funniest part is that stupid fucking tat has turned out to be Fake, it's ALREADY fading off of his stupid disgusting cheek if you look at his recent podcast appearances. Such Garbage Keemstar is running.

Probably, but Boogie enables himself anyway. Boogie, even without supervision, will self-destruct by living vicariously through his own vices and has shown numerous times that he will sabotage any attempts to help himself or receive legitimate help. Boogie doesn't want help. He wants attention, and he will do anything for clout. I, too, feel kind of sickened by the idea of turning these people who destroyed their lives into clowns in a circus, but in a way, it is its own containment room. Remember, Boogie will do anything for clout and will drag people into hell if it means he gets pity points. Boogie dug his own ditch and actively refuses to get out of it.

I agree, it’s content for them. They’ve gotten the most attention it seems from this drama. Just let his career go away. He needs to get off the internet for his own good.

@@Irishcrossing He honestly reminds me of the tragedian from C.S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce," someone who spent his whole life guilt-tripping and wielding pity as a blunt weapon. He gets a chance to go to heaven, abandon his ways and admit his wrongdoings, because Hell's pity cannot damage Heaven's joy. And he can't, or rather, won't. He goes right back to Hell because he simply WILL NOT stop trying to use pity as a weapon.

The screaming and erratic behavior is what Boogie resorts to when all of his attempts at getting victim points and sympathy have failed. This behavior is him acting out cuz he’s so mad that they all see through his act and he doesn’t know how to handle it any other way

I remember a couple years ago when another youtuber made short documentaries about DSP, WingsOfRedemption and Boogie. In the comments of the last video he asked which one of them is the worst. I guess now we know it’s most likely Boogie😅
@raufm.21353 ай бұрын
I mean DSP didn't lie about having a cancer and Wings is not an asshole in real life as far as I know. Also, none of the 2 have uncomfortably young girlfriends. So Boogie is a clear winner in this race to the bottom.
@casketbase77503 ай бұрын
Wings is flaky, poorly spoken, and has low self esteem. Compared to Boogie, he's the pinnacle of maturity. If nothing else, he's sympathetic.

I've never followed Boogie in his creative endeavors. I vaguely remember that his Francis ranting about Error 37 video was featured in one of Angry Joe's Top 10 Video Game Controversies. You know, Diablo III, always online, can't log in because the devs messed up the release and the game kept reporting Error 37. I also remember tidbits about him suffering in his childhood, I think his step mother was overfeeding him to make him obese but he was turning his life around, decided to undergo stomach reduction surgery, go on a diet and exercise. So it's kinda uplifting that the Nolan's Dark Knight quotes are so timeless, they constantly seep into reality. You either die a hero...

45:33 I’m sure it’s already been pointed out, but they left out an important bit of context here. Boogie wasn’t just excited to get the play button back for his ego, someone in chat actually offered $10k for it. So him throwing the $3k at it was more so in the hopes of making a $7k profit off his donation. In the livestream, they even point this out and question him on it and he straight up admits “someone offered $10k” and Keem catches it immediately and points out the profit incentive.
