He's just solid. It'd be awesome if he created a whole universe of characters related to this one. I.e. his business, conservative cousin comes to visit from the big city and is meeting him @ the bar. An old college roommate, visiting for a funeral for his Me-maw. A work friend, meeting up to buy a used car(something, whatever) And he can use this character as a foil to the new one. "Um, yea, I'm supposed to meet...whaa? Why is everyone asking me about lollipops?" He's got a goldmine here..

The Reba McEntire line hits so hard, the last drag show I saw in KY was at a former movie theater named The Princess and it starred exactly no one I've ever heard of locally EXCEPT the tristate's premiere Reba McEntire impersonator who makes them introduce her that way and will have you know she met Reba once... she always does Fancy, she's been doing it for like 2 decades

Great job Shane! Brilliant writing. Love the straw joke the best! IMO you nailed this. I'm from a small, southern town and you are dead on with this comedy piece. Even the one the gay bar where I lived was called "______'s Secret." Left the name blank so I don't out anyone. Best of luck with your career. Can't wait to watch you do more great, fabulous things.

@@ShaneShaneHooray Oh wow, you reaponded!! The tiny club was called the green parrot but it was kinda dirty n sleazy so its unofficial official name was "Dirty Bird" This was in the early 2000s. I was there last in like 2010.... Its been renamed a few times since then and has switched locations so its a bigger venue. Was my first ever gay bar at 17 and it did not disappoint 😄😄😄😁😁
