Something tells me the older generation (millennials and older Gen Z) isn’t going to care about Sims 5 when it comes out. These competitors are giving us what we ask for AS BASEGAME while the Sims team wants to make their business model like Fortnite and seemingly neglect us. Inzoi personally for me was the game I’ve been looking for for YEARS. I love this art style (reminds me of Black Desert) and I love simulators so seeing this world clash, Sims 5 might not even make it into my computer launch day 😂

Well, these games will most likely appeal to other markets, project Renee will include mobile and be free to play which will be more popular with younger people than a game that needs a good graphics card

Exactly, this because the team working on Sims doesn't care about the people that have been playing since the start anymore. They are just trying to get new players, and with that they are losing the ones that loved the game. This is just like you said, exactly what many of us has been looking for and many of us will try/are trying to find new games because of how sims are neglecting us. This one feels like the natural progression of sims 3, which sims team decided didn't matter. I'm looking forward to this game A LOT because it looks amazing, meanwhile I stopped paying attention to Project Rene when I heard about it the first time and I'm getting tired of sims 4 releasing broken games as well as not moving forward at all :/ (I'm older gen Z)

What most stands out for me is the expressions. They are done so well! It's one of the reasons I'm not too hyped about LBY - they're missing that humanism. The animations here are smooth and realistic, and they really captured body language and emotion to a tee. It's a beautiful game and I'm excited. We're getting bombarded with so many life Sims, EA is gonna be shaking. 😅

No, I do not think so, because the other styles just look like filters to me. So they are just visual and won't have any impact on the actual game performances. The game will still be demanding.

And if you bring down the graphics it makes the run better, I just checked the filters and they will definitely make the game smoother. Because you are reducing reflections and particle load in etc.

Obviously, if they just apply the filters which are only visual for this game and do not turn down the settings, this won't have any effect. It's like when you use reshade for the sims 4 you can make it look different with different art styles, but the actual performance of the game won't change, since they are only filters.

That are similar filters in Korean MMOs as well, the filters don't change how demanding the game will be, in fact, I'd say 70% of those showcased in inZOI could make the camera slightly more wonky if your PC can't handle it. Now, the crowds and cats filter will certainly help a lot with performance, but the filters not so much if other Korean games are something to go by.

Acottonsock did a playtest of the game on her channel. It was somewhat disappointing because it’s missing some basic aspects that should be in the game before release. It looks beautiful but is missing a lot. It is supposedly releasing at the end of next year.

I thought it was because I am white and I usually create sims like me😂Then they updated hair structures and added some new hairstylies for black people and I immediately created such beautiful black woman and was obsessed with it. I sow a video with it running on a RX 5500 XT OK so it probably needing 8gb VRAM minimum. $189 upgrade is all you should need if your VRAM is under 8gb, but I would go for 12gb and spend an extra $80 $100.

I simply fell in love with the announcement of this game! This looks like the best Sims mods in a dedicated, quality world. Everything shown so far looks so intuitive and works so simply. And I think it will work on my computer just like the current version, e.g. Cyberpunk2077. I believe in this game, I don't know why but I believe and I'm waiting. And when I saw the recommended Sims for Rent video on the screen, I only felt pity for a game that was once so popular, but the creators did not respect the customers.

Someone in a popular KZbinr’s stream called this a sims knockoff, but in my opinion this looks like it could really stand on its own. The art style looks great! I can’t wait to see where this leads. Of course it could be a total letdown in the end, but since it has a Korean influence it’s still something new compared to what we have so far, and I have high hopes for it.

This looks amazing! A couple of my first thoughts: They really did nail the realistic-but-not-uncanny-valley style in the world and for the characters. Obvious Korean influence. On the one hand, that's great representation for those of AAPI heritage, but I also think there's going to be a heavy lack of things like natural hairstyles and perhaps skin tones for Black characters. We did see a bit, but I definitely saw a _lot_ more that wasn't. Babies can crawl! The kids are adorable! We saw what looked to be high schoolers as well. I hope there's a stage in-between child and teen though, for the difference in size and age felt even wider than that between TS4's child and teen stages. Other thought that might make me a bit greedy: I hope we one day get a life simulation that lends itself more towards fantasy. The realistic gameplay players are getting their fill with Paralives, LBY, and now inZOI, but I can really only see Paralives doing any sort of supernatural play without it being extremely out of place. I know not everyone likes the fantasy elements, but a lot do. I would _love_ to have a life simulation where the day-to-day changes based on what race or magic powers you choose 😆

This game looks amazing. I love the realistic graphics and appreciate how they don’t look creepy. Animations aren’t corny and a good mix between goofy and serious emotions. My only complaint is that since it’s so Korean-centric there may be a lack of representation. I would love to see more black characters & hairstyles (more than just a fade). Though I will say the skintones had a nice variety to start off with & I did see one black/brown male character. A little worried about what making a black/brown inzoi would look like. Hope for a little more in the future!

Just letting you know, @acottonsock has done a playtest video, as well as others. I think you will be able to get a copy that may even be further developed than those I have seen thus far. The devs are seeking out feedback to make the game better, prior to release. Btw, nearly all triple A games are graphically intense now, but most do allow for turning down graphic settings.

'cartoonish' isn't really an 'art style's as cartoons are the everything from loony toons to Samurai Jack. You can do amazing deep dramatic story telling in an animated art style. Sims 2 and Sims 4 are VERY different looking games and both have their own unique non-realistic style. Life is Strange leans on realism but is HIGHLY stylized in character design and looks gorgeous.

Watch English simmer's review, there is alot of stuff missing in this game for me to want to play it. First it's way to easy to make an enemy your friend, doesn't matter your personality it's the same level of easy. You can't build houses or apartments or change the look of your work space. NPC Kids can't play on the play grounds. Etc. There is alot of things missing especially parts of the autonomy of characters, NPCs and your Zoi.

It seems that they are looking for feedback, which is a good thing. Hopefully, they will take the feedback into consideration and fix the issues. We should also be understanding and give them a break since this is their first year doing something like this. On the other hand, EA has been producing games for over 13 years and yet they still haven't been able to perfect The Sims 4.

@@diamondleo5136 We should absolutely not give them a "break". They working for a multimillion-dollar company, their team is probably huge and they plan to release it in *late 2024* - one year. That is a very limited timeframe, at this moment right now they are probably working on these things. If we say "oh it's fine, it's not out yet" without offering criticisms and suggestions (politely, of course), they will think it's fine to just release a prettier (debatable) TS4. And that is the thing, TS4 sucks gameplay-wise but it built 20 years of a loyal fanbase (yes, also because it's unique in the industry atm), inZOI won't have that, if they drop the ball on gameplay, people will just stick to TS4, it sucks but it has much more content anyways.

Right now there's JUST stray cats. The big fluffy cat you see in the character creator is the mascot and tutorial. Not a pet. That being said, even in base game one pet is more than most. If they are adoptable by launch.

It looks so realistic! Even better than Sims 5. But I love the aspirations, crafting and colletibles in the Sims 4 but this is so realistic and if they do something similar with aspirations, milestones, traits and whatnot then this game will be the best life sim out there and The Sims has now more competition than ever! Even the 2 artstyles are great, 1 realistic and the other one like paralives, I love that. The cartoon artstyle might maybe be great for low spec computers. It's insane, I really saw this game as a let's play yesterday evening on youtube from a German simmer, I love this I wish I could play it on my other PC that has Nvidia graphic card, but idk if its going to work.

I've watched a few game plays of this game and it looks better even than this demo. This game has only been in production for a year guys it's due to release 2024 late November, I can't imagine the improvements they will make in that time if it's only taken a year to get this far. They seem genuinely interested in feedback as well asking for what players want and where they'd like to see improvement. I'm going to need to start saving now, to buy a PC to play this 🤣🤣🤣

It's confirmed they used Unreal Engine 5, but I've watched the patreon beta game play, and you need a REALLY good computer to run without stutter or lag.

It runs on a 3060Ti well, but its only in demo so don't know overall. And I sow a video with it running on a RX 5500 XT OK so it probably needing 8gb VRAM minimum.

The game that I have been looking for YEARS, always wanted to be able to live a life in a game, work, eat, have a family, to have it so realistic is a dream to me, it would be a super big hit if we could play with our friends like GTA 5, I will definitely get this game once its released, I can't wait!!

I'm a lot more intrigued by this than Life by You, the style seems better, just controlling one person at a time, but with so much customisation. I should be getting money next year but not until July at the earliest to be able to buy a new PC instead of a laptop (mine is now 5 years old lol), but I would love if it was released on console too, as ray tracing graphics on the Xbox Series X look amazing and it can handle graphic hungry games so easily lol, especially as the little vid of this on KZbin shows as for 4k graphics, looking at the UI, looks to me easier to have on console! I see you colour wheel, and I love you lol! 😍 Omg the customisation of items and the actual legs of chairs, that's crazy! 😍 Oh wow those art styles are crazy! 😍 I definitely want to hear and see more abour this! I hope they hear you, Pixelade, would love to see you play it too! 😊🥰
