I've said it before but I'll say it again: I LOVE that he doesn't constantly LOOK at what he's doing. He FEELS what he's doing. When I went through massage school, they frequently made us massage with lights off or blind folded. Look when assessing, feel when addressing.

I want to go to a chiropractor while I’m still young so bad /: people don’t seem to take you seriously when you complain of back pain as a younger person bc it’s seen as something only older adults deal with, but what they don’t realize is if you don’t take care of the back early in life, it will only get worse as you age! I don’t even understand why my back hurts but hopefully I can save up to see an amazing chiropractor like you doc! Thanks for all the work you do healing people :)

If I could tell my younger self...don't lift weights to see how much you can lift, lift weights to keep your muscles in good balance with an eye on having a body and spine that will last you for the long haul. Stretching and movement are also important. So glad this young man got in to see Ed at age 20 instead of age 40. There is hope for improved and sustained health at that age.

He’s actually using a technique called guasha . He’s using a common guasha stone. It helps to get into hard to reach areas. A lot of Asian, and now American, women use it all over, but on the face to smooth lines of tension. Great Doctor.

Strengthening the muscles which stabilise the shoulder and help retract the shoulders will help this young man with his poor control over his scapula. Further lengthening of the tissues is not a long-term fix. Building the mind-to-muscle connection using neuromuscular rep range exercises is what he needs.

I haven’t seen a more in-depth video Thankyou. What would be more beneficial for relaxing the nerve? Like stretching and mobility work, ice bath sauna or massage tools

Gees as if I was recommended this video. I legit feel like I have the same issues as this guy. Sprained my back twice, sprained neck, broke my collar bone, and got hit by a car (all separate instances, got hit by the car about 2 years ago and I'm still numb around tail bone, assuming it will stay like that at this point). My lower neck is always sore, shoulder blades to (they stick out weirdly like this guys). Sometimes lower back is really sore. Often when neck sore i get a headache in back of head near neck. I'm not sure how much chiropractors are in Canada but your professionalism is making me think it might be worth going to a chiropractor. Thank you for this video.

I have never found a chiropractor in alaska that is even close to this Doc and it's so sad bc I am in so much pain daily that I can't hardly get thru a day without being missrable. I have gone to the doc and will be starting physical therapy for a injury in my neck praying for even a small amount of relief.

1. have some kids 2. send them to become chiropractors and tell them to learn what he knows Sure, that is a long-term plan ... but consider the good you are doing humanity with it!

I have chronic pain and something that really helped me is buying a massager. I have one that you can put on your neck. It's fantastic. It's called Beurer delux 3D shiatsu neck and back massager. I've gifted it to a few friends over the years for Christmas and it has changed their life. Pain management like that is good because you can control the pressure. Good luck

Everything that the kid mentioned happened to me. I can see he has been doing his research almost like an obsession to figure out what he is feeling. C4, T4, L5 are what I had inflamed. It messed me up doing my overhead movement with too much weight. I was fine in the beginning but over time it got worse. I went to seek help and currently working in overcoming it.

I've had a winged scapula since 2019 after falling on my back while skating. Conked my head stupid too. Definitely got some nerve damage. I really need to find me a chiro that can do this. I've been coping so fockin hard for years, self-medicating in *too many* ways in order to deal with the pain my messed up bacc causes me. I can't stand still comfortably. The winged scapula feels like my right shoulder blade just died and never came back but the muscle is still crying for help. Someday 💯🙅
