well i mean he couldnt die he technically had the time ability of infinite time so from part one to 6 the villians had a extreme will to overcome fate therefore they got the closest thing to manipulate it which was to to get more *time* think about it however after part 6 when jolyne becomes irene the jojo linage to fight evil died so did everything that the jojos needed to fight therefore we get a new universe however the villians doesn’t have that strong of a will to overcome fate since fv just wants to be the best president of the country but because of his wrong doings the jojos come back to fight him off and i keep forgeting his name but the main villian of jojo part 8 just wants a rokakaka for reasons that are unknown or i have forgotten about it. The sbr universe villians don’t have close enough wills to gain a time manipulating power unlike dio for example who legit wanted to rule over all worlds but then you might think, ”why did kira get a time stand he just wanteda quiet life”. Because kira didn’t get anything to do with time until he was pierced with the arrow a second time and at that momment he had such a storng will to avoid his fate of being found out he gained bites the dust. Fate is a major role in jojo pre part 7 and still remains after part 6 i saw someone make a much better comment about this. Also you can’t overcome fate in jojo even when Giorno did it, it was fated that he would overcome fate.

Stopping time, erasing time, erasing space, and all that shit never gave me chills because at the end of the day its fiction. But... Made in Heaven... this stand got me shivering in real life as I was reading Stone Ocean. The way the sun starts moving like a comet, the way the geography of the world changes, the reactions of people around the world... it got me terrified and wondering if this is a power any human should have. Unlike the other antagonists abilities, the human population can FEEL the world ending. And it gets worse as the universe resets and you (might) meet people you know but who have completely different souls and memories. I understand why DIO would want this.

Just a reminder. MIH's ability to reset the universe doesn't harm or kill anyone, the time acceleration can because of the debris everywhere and sometimes specific conditions like inside of a meat refrigerator.

I wasnt that good in my physics class and I just skimmed Wikipedia for a bit, but when you mentioned the bit about how Emporio "magically" wasnt affected bcuz he was close to Pucci, it got me thinking about event horizons and the ergo-sphere around black holes. Basically the zone where things start to move at the same speed as the black hole. If we try compare this to Made In Heaven, it would mean the area around Pucci that is free of the effect is the actual black hole, while everything in its effect range is actually the space outside of the black hole. I dont really think this idea is explored in the end, but I like the thought that theres an actual reason Araki made a zone around Pucci that is unaffected. Most media sees black holes as a single point of space to which all mass gravitates, while in reality its composed of layers/zones

Pucci is that type of evil where he constantly reminds you that things can get worse. what happens is everyone who doesnt die in the old universe just gets transferred over to the new universe. they are the exact same people. the people who DID die in the old universe arent actually the same people and they are just dull imitations of the dead people. if you die in the old universe your soul will be erased if the old universe is also erased. this fortunately doesnt happen since emporio kills pucci before he can reach heaven (everyone's souls having expierenced their fate) so the new universe was erased and everyone who was alive was sent back to the old universe. since pucci died in the new universe, his soul was erased and he did not carry over and all the people in the old universe who died by things that pucci caused came back to life since their souls had not been erased yet. this is why Irene and Annakiss are slightly different but are still Jolyne and Annasui. although they died in the old universe, they died to pucci, and all effects that pucci had on the old universe were reverted. this also would mean that jotaro would have spent more time with jolyne since he didnt have to worry about DIO's followers anymore (pucci) and she wouldnt have gone to prison. TLDR: if you die in the old universe and the new universe fully takes over then ur soul is erased. the same happense vice versa (dieing in the new universe). Irene and Annakiss are the same people as Jolyne and Annasui because all effects pucci ever had on the universe were reverted so jotaro would have never had to worry about pucci. everyone who never died in all of it went to the new universe then back to the old universe

My theory on puccis speed is that he is moving in real time. Basically time is sped up, so all people are not in real time. Essentially pucci is not experiencing sped up time and he is in real time, which is scary af. This means that he essentially has slowed down time for himself with no limit, but instead he made everyone experience time at a faster rate apart from himself. This allows him to be in control of all of his actions at all times.

This is a really cool theory! I had a theory of my own which is similar and I think they both work well together. I think that the MiH power is loosely based on the Big Bounce theory which basically states that the universe is in a constant state of collapsing due to gravity and exploding creating a new universe (the Big Bang). I thought that MiH was purely speeding up time to make the natural collapse of the universe happen way faster than it should, but the idea of the stand being a supernatural black hole is way cooler.

This isn’t really how made in Heaven works. Considering that the time dilation of a black hole is not uniform across space as well as how black holes are fast but not infinite in terms of speed (like Pucci is) it’s very unlikely that he has anything to do with that. Most likely Pucci like all many stage stands had a power evolution from Gravity to Time itself. If you look at how he moves he’s literally just walking but the speed of that has been altered from our perspective. Considering this Pucci’s abilities fall more in line with manipulating special relativity rather being a black hole.

According to the wiki, MiH can accelerate all non-biological events. I assume this means aging isn't effected like how the Grateful Dead influences one's age. However, external factors, like a fridge (or something like that), have their effects enhanced. If one were to go into a fridge/freezer, the speed at which they freeze is increased immensely.

No that's not true. GER has a none in stand stats which is either infinity or something so big that it's somehow beyond infinity which is why it's a none in everything and not infinity in everything. Return to zero activated, not when Diavolo attacked Giorno but when Diavolo tried to deactivate time erase to attack Giorno meaning that it's the intent that matters, not the actions themselves. This is basically the head doctor stand (whatever it is) from Part 8 but infinitely more powerful. Not to mention that MIH would be an okay stand at best if it didn't have it's speed and GER has instant speed which is basically teleportation mixed with what is probably an unlimited range meaning that he can pop up literally anywhere which cancels out MIH's speed advantage and return to zero cancels out anything that would have an effect on Giorno (direct or otherwise) which now means that MIH cannot run, he cannot fight back, and even if he could GER still is far stronger than him in basically every way. Fighting GER is akin to fighting capital g God. As GER said himself, "You will never reach the truth that will occur. None who stand before me shall ever do so, regardless of their ability". GER does not just counter King Crimson, he counters literally every single ability you could ever imagine except stuff like reality overwrite which is not only something MIH does not have but also something I highly doubt actually could affect GER and don't agree with how it is shown in Eyes of Heaven but that's unrelated.

Anyway, although having everyone be slow mo (In comparison with you) is quite fucking scary, i'd say heaven's door deserves more love, i mean, you just look at it and you automatically lose, even if you are immortal once he's got you, you are at his mercy.
