My biggest fitness goal is to learn how to do the human flag or other bar tricks. My reason is that these moves required a lot of arm strength and will help my parkour.

Doing this exercise on gymnastic rings or TRX is great for progressions because it allows you to turn your wrists during the movement so it doesn't require as much wrist flexibility and allows you to focus on the other body parts involved until you can build up that flexibility.

My #1 fitness goal right now is to achieve my first pull up. I chose a specific goal which would require weight loss and lean muscle building to get there and would be a clear ‘finish point’. Then I can set a new goal! :)

Hey Tapp brothers would u guys make a video on how to get over a spiked fence. Also I am working on my pk roll and I am fixing all my mistakes, but I have hit my shoulder a few times and it is now red and bruised, is there anyway of decreasing the heal time. Or do I just have to wait until it heals itself.

I've been doing these for a while now (over a year), but I am still finding that on the odd occasion my right shoulder suddenly jolts usually moving into the front lever position. It feels like it's going to dislocate and it's painful! It keeps happening though. What am I doing wrong? I'm doing mobility exercises before each session

I saw this on your Instagram post and already started trying it. I'm struggling a bit though because I can't get my legs to tuck far enough in and they keep clipping the bar and stopping me from going further. I'm 6 ft 1 in and have really long legs so I don't know if that's a matter of flexibility or if I'm just too tall, lol? Any advice?

Like stated in the video, get your carry throughs down first.. That should help a ton... If you still have trouble, try to remember the body feeling of carry through during the exercise and try to get the same shape

I need to lose weight. But I have no motivation. I've always thought parkour was awesome but would never be able to do it while overweight. So I decided my goal wasn't to lose weight, it was to do basic level, like level one parkour. Now when I end up losing weight in the process it's because I'm working toward something way cooler than just losing weight.

In the mid-90's I used to be in the same boat, Cady. I was a new dad and ate too much of my kid's leftovers... and enjoyed big lunches at work. I went in for a health checkup and found out that I was on a path towards Type 2 diabetes. My doctor read me the riot act and scared the heck out of me, so I wrote an awk script to record my food calories and protein, etc. I quickly started losing weight, ran a few marathons and was able to keep off the pounds for most of the last 20 years. For me, fear of diabetes was the motivator. You are right that there are many fitness goals that will be within reach once you lose some weight and replace fat pounds with muscle mass. Extra pounds occur when Food Calories - BMR - Exercise Calories > 0. When you are tempted to reach for that extra cookie, remember you might have to run 1 1/2 miles to burn it off! Cut down on bread and swear off that second plate of spaghetti, and try to do some exercise every other day, even if it is just to go for a walk. Best of luck and a long healthy life to you!

Longevity, healthy joints, tendons, nerves and heart, which is healthy body and healthy mind of course. Why? because our bodies is like vessels, if you took care of your vessel, cleaned it up, smoothed it, didn't throw any crap inside it, it will last you longer and it will be way more beautiful as time goes by.

You talk about muscle development yet you have very little. Gymnastics can build muscle, obviously, as Olympic gymnasts have phenomenal muscle development and never touch weights. You obviously don’t eat enough.
