Edit: I am aware that India is in Asia! When the press said Zayd was of Asian origin, I later found out he was from India specifically! I think there's been a misunderstanding somewhere haha! Orig: Hey all, Finally got this one finished, you'll have to let me know if you've heard of this mountain / area before. I'd be surprised! I found it by complete accident and was interested enough to make a video about it. We also go in some weird directions here and hear about odd happenings in the waters near the area. Also, I thought about talking about this in the video, but decided against it. This video took a little bit longer to make than usual and the next video might take a bit longer than normal too. My mum is unfortunately having a pretty significant operation this Friday and I've been spending / plan on spending time with family.

It is awesome that you consistently produce videos on unique topics that are not well known. I’ve never heard of this mountain before but it and these events are very intriguing. Just like your videos on the hidden people, I believe that the locals do have knowledge of things and events that outsiders may find hard to believe. Thanks for all your meticulous research and hard work. Im wishing all the best for a successful surgery and healing for your Mom and I will offer up prayers for her and your family during this time. Right! It’s not as if the world doesn’t have plenty of safer - but still physically challenging - places to explore! ALWAYS seek local knowledge and advice (and try to make it worth their time as well, especially if this ends up being life-saving advice). Of course, many people are just so ego-led and think, “no, I MUST go to the top of that particular haunted, portal-ridden, red-eyed-animal infested mountain! What would the boys back home think of me otherwise” and as usual, our egos are our downfall. *VALUE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE*

@@stoptrudeau42 in April 1903 Canada's Rocky Mountains, in the Crow's Nest Pass area, a landslide occured swallowing most of the new town of Frank, a coal mining operation that had brought folks to live and work in the area. Warnings by the Indigenous people's about the dangers of camping/inhabiting near the mountain were arbitrarily dismissed, resulting in loss of life and livelihood of the townsfolk of Frank. From Canadian Encyclopedia: The Blackfoot and Kutenai people knew Turtle Mountain as "the mountain that moves." Their stories say they wouldn't camp near it. Sadly, the slide caused death and destruction. The mountain MOVES to this day, as it is a forward thrust zone geologically, and is monitored, as parts of the mountain are unstable. The natives already knew this by observation and hard-won wisdom handed down through generations.

It's not only Nyangani, there are a lot of other mountains or pools that are sacred in Zimbabwe. Where I come from in Masvingo there is a mountain that you can hear people singing and the sounds of drums and sometimes you can here the sound of people and cows ploughing while you know very well that nobody lives in the mountain. There is also another lady who was interviewed by Dreams media unfortunately it's in Shona language where she helps recover people who were taken into the water by mermaids more than 40 years ago and the people came back alive with scales on their skin and long long hair also unable to speak. This is real not just superstition. I wish someone western or of a different culture can go down there and interview people who were taken by the mermaids and get first hand information

Always, always, always listen to the locals. Whether you believe in the paranormal or not. If it’s extremely dangerous, for whatever reason, they will know. I used to live in Hawaii and visitors were always dying doing things that locals would never do. There are signs everywhere and even warning videos in the airport as you wait for your luggage. “Don’t swim on empty beaches. If no one swims there; there’s a reason. Dangerous riptide currents etc.” ) It seemed like at least once a week someone would die of doing something reckless and ignoring warnings. Seeing people disrespect signs about sacred places was also very hurtful.

Hi as a Hindu my family and I perform certain rituals. These rituals are very important. We have rituals for our ancestors etc. Many Asian cultures have the same. It is very important to have respect on any mountain and to have good thoughts. Every thought that a person has..it manifests. I belive Zyad did not have a strong belief system and he made fun of spirituality of the Africans. He thought nothing of it..because he thought he was invisible. It is the attitude and the narcissism mixed in. Those that respect nature will return...people disrespect boulders and place graphitti artwork on them. This is rude and not caring..

In 1994 I worked in neighbouring Mozambique for 6 month and I went to Zimbabwe in few occasions. In one of these while staying in Mutare e went to tbe Leopard Rock and from the lodge (that is really a beautiful Victorian era colonial building) we took a guide to mountain. Nothing unusual happened but we, my group and I, we in ore of the absolute beauty of the place. The forest, the view on the west side bit I really didn't know of these things that had happened but we were anyway told to don't wonder of or leave the group. It was a great day and I'll never forget the amazing beauty of the place. Anyway people in Zimbabwe, like in Mozambique and Botswana too have strong animistic beliefs rooted in a very old folclore and tradition. They were Christians, religion wise, but something else too.

I think that the mountain has a portal and it is possible to go from one dimension to another. This would explain why the one group of ppl that thought they were up there for only hours was actually days. This also can explain why the search crew did not hear them because there may be a invisible vail that does not allow sound to transfer from one dimension to another.

I think mountains are common places for portals. My brother lives on top of a mountain and one day I was at his place helping him change a flat tire. When we finished up putting on the spare and went to throw the flat tire back in his truck bed, it was gone. Vanished. We never did find it. It couldn't have rolled away - it was flat. He has no close neighbors who could have been pranking him. Besides, it wasnt six feet from us, lying right behind his truck. He still doesn't like talking about it. It was one of the spookiest things I've ever experienced. We looked all over the place for it. Huge mystery to this day.

I am Zimbabwean and i think the number one problems with those who will disregard the stories they are told by locals because they see it as mere superstition. My father told me a mermaid incident that took place in the village he grew up in... Masvingo, Gutu. His father was part of the group that witnessed what happened at that place. But growing up they knew the place had a mermaid and he said even during a drought when most rivers were dry, that little pond/spring would never ever dry up.....like never.

W knew before hand about how to conduct oneself while up there but we still got tested.. For us, the test was a darting rabbit that we saw as we were climbing up. We never made a comment. It was as clear as the blue sky. Once up the peak,my friend asked me if I wanted to continue. I said let us head back and there was no further discussion. When we got back to the foot of the mountain and looked up back, the mountain was engulfed in thick fog and we couldnt see beyond a few yards. We survived thru sheer luck. If you climb mountain Nyanganiand see "funny" things(trees that look like women with bare breasts, animals, funny rock features etc), do not comment. Keep it moving! That may save your life.

Brilliant as always, Adam I loved the Mermaids story & have watched a vid about it & it was facinating & i think there was testimony from some of the workers which seemed very genuine & they were extremely frightened & descriptions were really wierd. Ive also got to side with the local community & tribal elders regarding this mountain. After careful thought im reminded of what i was taught about always seeking permission from the nature spirits & beings when entering woodland & forests & any areas with an abundance of natural flora & fauna. Ive always done this for many decades, whether its to gather berries, walk my dog, or just enjoy a quiet walk or sit in contemplation. You must ask permission to enter or traverse woods & wait to see if you are welcome & believe me you know when you are not welcome & the biggest of signs of this is the provervial feeling of being watched & a hostile atmosphere & sounds dimming or silence. Why people chose to ignore these signals is bewildering to me. Many times i know ive been denied permission & leave without question. I will return a week later & im welcomed, whatever was going down has been sorted. We are so arrogant & think we can go wherever we want, willy nilly, no one rules us, we're top dog but they would be so wrong There is a whole different side to existance on this planet & one that is far older than human kind. People can believe or not, they can ridicule, which they do, alot Its up to them, but being respectful & adhering to signs & listening to gut feelings, many people would be safe & not disappear. These arent my rules but things i was taught by many people in very different countries & cultures but they are all basically the same. How can so many cultures be wrong? Its not hard to be respectful & courteous & withdraw if needs be. Whether you believe or not, just try it when you enter a place of natural existance, ask permission, wait & see how youre feeling, listen, observe, the signs will always be there. Its up to you.

Very true. I believe there are very strange things in this world that we don’t have the slightest clue about. Like what is taking the missing 411 hikers in US national parks. The way those cases match up, no trail, no scent, no body to be found, no kit, then they are found out back in places already searched. They are being ‘taken’ ON THE SPOT IMMEDIATELY. If you saw someone being taken, I bet you wouldn’t believe your eyes at what you see, and it would be so far out, so shocking, and so unbelievable that the police wouldn’t believe you, and they would make YOU the prime suspect! They are being taken by something that can take them to another place, where searchers cannot find them because they are not ‘here’ to be found. Another dimension. Sounds crazy, yes. But a neighbouring dimension of beings 500,000 years more advanced than us could probably change the frequency of their surroundings to match ‘our’ dimension. They pick a victim in national parks because it’s remote but you can still find humans there. They choose their victim by whatever specimen they want, and they take them immediately. There one second, gone the next, sometimes forever. It’s terrifying. The invisible ‘predator’ entity seen by hikers and hunters could be the culprit. If you don’t fit the target type of human, you see it and live to tell. If you DO fit the target, you don’t stand a chance.

@@amandas5261 Bless you Amanda, i hear they call them Dogman yes and also agree with you about the name and believe they call them that because werewolf sounds comic book yet most that actually see them the first thing they call them is a werewolf like i did yet in the history books which obviously it has been covered up made them out to be a man turning into a wolf, yet, to me seeing one face to face it clearly was not a man or a beautiful wolf, this thing was flesh and blood and truly its own being that was not meant to be seen yet history teaches us they were real and never changes from man to wolf too.. it seems many confused and make it up (like history lies) as though go along because it sounds good yet there is nothing good about these beasts for they are the most terrifying thing on this planet and i have seen plenty of ugly things including spirits and other beings but none like this. I will not close my mind to the possibility that they can change but certainly Dogman does not fit what i see and i am sure they can talk too, i have no proof of that but it chose not to kill me so it has intelligence where if it had been a lion, bear etc i would be dead.. i honestly think our gov and military know of them too and would not surprise me at all if these were the next super soldier if we all get out of hand. People underestimate how hard it is to find someone, especially if they are unconscious. It took a year to find a girl who died on a small mountain near where I live. This was like a quarter mile from houses but unless you walked in just the right spot, you wouldn't know, and this was in the desert, not a forest or jungle with crazy weather. A lack of evidence isn't evidence anything.

One of the problems with tourist, visitors, etc. is that when they come to Africa we well warn them of places that are bad, places that are evil but they ignore us, they think we are stupid and don't know what we are talking about. We are the first humans, we are good, kind and loving people and we understand much about this world and other worlds and dimensions and we try to warn and keep others safe but people don't listen! Those in the West especially don't listen and are arrogant. There are bad spirits there that are not human! Bad spirits and entities are all over the world so when locals to a country are area tell you to not go somewhere or respect an area please do that if you value your life!

Give me a break man, get off your high horse. The mountain is located in a popular national park that features 4 roads that lead to the mountain. Four. The mountain itself has 3 different hiking trails and tourist paths that take you to the top. No locals are telling anyone not to go up this mountain. Most of the reasons people go missing and die is due to the quickly developing weather changes that occur on the mountain. No evil spirits or paranormal hoodoo.

Hi there. I can't believe I just saw this. We just returned from Mt Nyangani & Zimbabwe last week after (12) days & you won't believe what happened to us. To start, my husband is originally from Zim but has been in the states with me for the past 7 years, so we returned to Zim hoping to find a house to buy either by Mt Nyangani or Vic Falls. Welllllllll, we started out from Bulawayo on what was supposed to be at the most a 8-9 hour drive. 17.5 hours later we found our selves at 12:30 at night UP TOP on a dirt rough road in the middle of the national park in our little 2 wheel drive Toyota rental car. Yep, you read that right. We disappeared for hours & have NO idea where we were & the kicker...after 17.5 hours of driving, used only 1 & 1/4 tank of gas. Swear to God on my life. At this point, I turned to my husband & said "we are going to die up here & no one is going to have a clue where we are." With that said, I was looking into the amazing night sky with a bright moon & said out loud " you know what...if we die, there isn't a prettier place to die than here back in Africa." Then moments later, we got to a junction in the road whereby I hit the brakes. The only way to go was over this questionable bridge or back. I looked at my husband & he said "take the bridge" so I thought what the hell, hit the gas & successfully made it over the bridge. At 2:30 am, we finally arrived at Troutbeck Resort in Nyanga beyond exhausted & totally disoriented. The one reward though, was the next morning while driving up to look at a home looking out at Mt.Nyangani, we both felt this sacred presence in the valley of Nyanga like you'd experience at Machu Pichu & once up at the house way high atop this mountain I just stood staring in awe at Mt. Nyangani & said a prayer to it's spirit & those all around. It was truly mystical. Like I told Dave Paulides, I'm curious as to why some of us who disappear - reappear (albeit hours later) & some don't. Zimbabwe....wow.

I am from Zimbabwe and have been to the mountains right to the top. I did not see or feel anything strange. However its very easy to get lost and the guides have put along the route visible marks and paintings to help you not to get lost. The terrain has no visible land marks outside small bushes and its very difficult to easily see or locate your bearings if it gets dark .Thats why they always advise you not to climb the mountain after 1.30/2.30pm m not very sure but theres restrictions as to the times one can climb

I am ZImbabwean, I know people who know Zayd Dada and his family. His family admitted to certain people that Zayd was making fun of the legends that spoke of the mountain that swallows. And they stated not long after that he walked ahead and gone. I believe the mountain can see your soul. I believe you get called to the long before you even disappear. I believe Zayd failed his test to respect the land and poof just like that taken into another dimension. Either way, all these missing people serve as examples for all to respect the earth whether you are in sacred area or no and to respect the UNSEEN. Just because you cannot see, it doesn’t mean its not there. I have been on vacation to Nyanga many times, we always stayed in the hotel or mostly the cabins in the mountains. I myself have witnessed how the fog changes in seconds, and i witness this from inside the cabin, even then, i knew not to go out and the cabin was no where near the sacred sights, however the energy surrounds the land and town. I respected the energy and i remained indoors and light a candle and sent a prayer of thanks to the ancestors of the land and thank them for keeping the land safe. The energy in Nyanga is very cozy to me, i love being there, i feel like I have returned home to The Great Mothers house, and i know especially when I’m there, something inside me always tells me to rest, and go within my own self to explore the depths of me. I think i feel this level of comfortably because of my love for the ancestors and ancient ways. So whenever I’m there, i snuggle up in my cabin with some great books and there is always firewood available and i cook myself some good food, all whilst being surrounded by my ancestors who protect the sacred land of Zimbabwe.

Thank you again for all your hard work and research. I absolutely love how thorough you are. I would love it if you would delve deeper into stories about some of the "time slip" type stories; the ones along the lines of people thinking they were lost for hours but turned out to actually be days. I've briefly heard of them before, and the ones you mentioned here reminded me that there have been similar reports around the world. I experienced one myself over 20 years ago, and have been fascinated with them ever since.

@@reesedaniel5835 please list the people he has stolen his research from with source and facts. Every popular mysterious missing person case you see online documented was most likely first uncovered by David and featured in his missing 411 books. He and his team did the first legwork and research and found the cases with the missing 411 profile points and coined the term missing 411. The only source he has gone to other than FOIA police reports, coroner reports, newspapers, library research etc is the website Charley project which he has given credit to multiple times. It sounds like you have some kind of personal or some other kind of unwarranted issue with him that isnt deserved. All hes ever done is profile mysterious wilderness dissapperancs and then bring the cases back into the public eye for extra exposure. Maybe you should do some real research into what your talking about before posting extremly ignorant comments.

thanks for the insight into Mt Nyangani. In Zim there is many sacred places, and in those places (forests and mountains) never comment abt strange things tht you see. Just dont comment or laugh, it helps a lot, am not sure what it translates to but looks like there are spirits that manifests in different ways and once you comment or laugh those spirits regards that as disrespect and punish you for that. I dont know why they do that, for fun or to demonstrate territorial authority, its difficult to comprehend.

When someone gets lost in the forest it might help to setup survival kits in a mile wide circle. One a mile north a mile south and a mile east and west. With a large weather balloon tied to em. With the balloons having a sort of strobe light in it that can easily be seen at night. It would give those lost something to walk towards. The survival kits would have communication, food, and first aid kits.

They've lived there for thousands of years and know what's going on. Unfortunately, arrogant outsiders continue to ignore the local wisdom. It would be like some captain rejecting pilotage and deciding to enter or leave port with no guidance. I'm glad the Zimbabwe government is now requires rangers/guides., fully-charged phones, etc. To be honest, This is an area I'd consider giving a very wide berth.

That is very interesting. We live on Shumont Mountain in Bat Cave, NC. There have been families on the mountain since 1780. I have noticed the landscape changing radically from the way it was a few hours or days or the year before. We have lived there for years and I know the area very well. It is very wild and mountainous. I can't explain this. Other people have not noticed it, only me, but I'm the only one who goes climbing and exploring all around. But I notice that my mother seldom leaves the yard and usually stays inside the house. She says she feels frightened when she goes outside for very long. We do have bears and the occasional cougar, tho she has never seen them, but tho she is incredibly plucky in other environments, when she is home, she stays inside. I have seen large UFO's in the area twice with land and time warps occurring simultaneously, which I cannot explain and other strange visions. The mountain is said to be sacred to the local Native Americans, the Cherokee tribe, and I believe it. I think my mother picks up on something.

I've been looking into this idea that a person can walk into an area and somehow insult an unperceived entity resulting in unfortunate repercussions. At first glance, it seems like fairy tale fiction for entertainment purposes only, but the more you look back at the history of these beliefs the more you are struck by the depth of seriousness with which these ideas are regarded. Seeing that people are still serious enough about it that families and authorities are consulting spiritual guides about spirits in these modern cases tells me that much of the so called folklore/fairytales were never meant in jest or as only entertainment. I find Michael Fortune channel and Encounters with the Good People channel quite fascinating on this topic. Cheers!

We went to Nyanga the year before in 1985 for a school trip and were warned emphatically never to wander off. And then the following year, Robert Ackhurst went missing. Nyanga has always been one of my favourite places as we went there every school holiday. There is beauty, but humans must respect that we aren't the only beings who inhabit this planet - and these areas. WOULD LOVE to watch an episode on mermaids. 23:32 Adam, you took the words right out of my mouth! This is something I’ve been pondering for the past couple of weeks and I was actually wondering about the logistics of starting a non-profit with the goal being to make monitors or trackers available on the mountains & in wilderness areas that have proved more treacherous than others. The secondary goal would be to come up with a way to make potentially lifesaving items like those more affordable to anyone who wants to hike a tough area, as well as those hiking a certain area for the first time. This is something I’ve had a great interest in and I’d probably say that that’s in part due to watching your videos. I have not a single clue on how to start a nonprofit let alone run one and I’m not sure how I’d get backers/investors/donations but it’s certainly something I’m looking into. I’ve also been trying to start my own channel with no success yet but I try to remain hopeful. I know for sure that if my channel were to gain any traction, I would use that as a tool to help those in the community I’m speaking on. I’m not even a hiker myself but with so many going missing, leaving their families to forever wonder what _really_ happened, all the while I feel like there is something in existence that could be used as a preventative measure so how can I make that a reality? Well, we’ll see...

There is another case of a very famous South African shaman, the late Credo Mutwa going missing on a mountain in Zimbabwe for a few days in the 70s or 80s I think. I think he called the mountain range the Motopo mountains or something, I'm not sure if it's a completely different mountain range or if this Nyangana mountain makes up part of that mountain range. I don't know. But the interesting thing about his story is that he remembered a lot of his ordeal. it's been a while since I listened to his story, but if I'm not mistaken, he also went missing for a few days but they seemed like hours. His story is truly bizarre as he recalls in quite vivid detail exactly what happened to him on that mountain. I believe he was found a few days later in pretty bad shape, naked and confused. He's a very credible source and also considered a South African National treasure. his story is still on KZbin I think. check it out, it's fascinating and pretty terrifying

Wouldn’t it be interesting to know if this mountain or other ones that have mysterious events and/or disappearances are situated on ley lines? 🤔

"Vanishing on this mountain is neither myth nor a legend. There is a long held belief by the Manyika people that says a vindictive spiritual presence is responsible for the disappearances." That is literally the epitome of a myth and/or legend...

its a myth as in its a traditional story but i definitely think he means that vanishing actually happens. its not just the stories its verified. its not a myth because its true.

Personally, I think tourists need to seek out the locals and learn to ALWAYS listen to what they say, first and foremost, about whatever destination they are wanting to visit. Online reviews, brochures and pamphlets, hired company tour guides- their opinions and statements come secondary. The locals and their families have been around for generations, their words and advice need to be heeded much more often by the tourist community.

I live in the Pacific Northwest: Seattle, WA. I have had an experience at a National Park similar to the videos you have posted. Thank you for doing what you're doing and I think it's great! I do firmly believe that there are other beings visiting all solar systems.. The Universe is too huge for our minds, we're not the only beings out here.. We haven't even discovered more than 5% of our ocean, our Earth is made of only 10% land and we know almost nothing about the Universe. Thanks again for the videos and I really appreciate you!

Yep, I completely agree with you. I live in Washington State and have many family members that have seen Sasquatch or Bigfoot or whatever you want to call it. And l can’t believe how some fools think that there is no room for anything to hide here in Washington. Get real lol

I definitely believe in other world entities but not aliens from another planet. I lean with the belief that UFOs are technology piloted by the Sons of God (the good and bad Angels) referenced in the Bible.

First time viewer/listener . 👍👌👍 Great stuff! Love the format, background music very tastefully done and having the text of the story quoted occasionally on screen as you're reading it really adds to the depth of interest. Good luck to you!
