Sandeep Reddy's journey from 'physiotherapy to arjun reddy', is in itself a great example to explain the importance of taking risks, accepting challenges, perseverance.
The acclaimed director of Arjun Reddy, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is born and raised initially in Warangal.He is now a nationally acknowledged director in Indian cinema and has made a mark right with his directorial debut along Arjun Reddy. After completing his masters in physiotherapy ,he followed his passion and joined International film school, Sydney, to study filmmaking. Prior to Arjun Reddy he has also had an experience of working as an assistant director in the film Kedi.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's idea of filming a cult movie in this era of controversies and criticism, is really an exceptional feat and as a result Arjun Reddy stands out as an example suggesting us to step out of our comfort zones and to have the courage to do something unconventional in life. nope watch movie called 'Em mantram vesave' a movie before Arjun Reddy of vijay konda. Very bad acting. As Sandeep explaining in Tedex talk he doesn't give up until he gets what he wants. 18 hrs per day he used sit on top of Vijay konda. Vijay was bekar and had to choose any film that comes to him. This movie started before Pellichoopulu when very few know vijay. So it is not Vijay who gave chance to Sandeep. Sandeep felt it is his fate to take Vijay Konda because he thought of starting it with Sharwanand and he thought Sharwa would for such characters due to movies like Prasthanam fame. Eventually Sandeep decided to go with raw person and moulded him by asking him to act for 18 hours and sometimes vijay used to feel crazy as this guy doesn't give up until vijay delivers what Sandeep wants. Vijay was such a bad actor as you can see movie 'Em manthram vesave' which was started before ArjunReddy.

What makes the movie cult status is the extraordinary connect it establishes at the emotional level without turning delusional !! Sandeep Vanga before descending down to direct it , finely mapped out the story within his head , which led to the credible visualization on screen...It is Sandeep who brought out the best in Vijay Deverekonda and Shalini Pandey ! And while Vijay brilliantly rose up to the occasion of belting out his best performance , Shalini provided the perfect counterfoil with a performance that a million hearts will relish and nurture for a long time to come ! Drugs and Alcoholism only aggravated the anger management issues that Arjun Reddy was afflicted with ...So if guys can be quick to emulate Arjun Reddy in taking to self destruction , they can also set a better example by accepting their mistakes and not letting down the people they love ...That final owning up of responsibility , is what redeemed Arjun Reddy and left the audiences with a lingering fondness for the film !!
