Loving the content. Never know what's in each video, history says its tank related. But then you surprise us with D9 landscaping, worlds worst and noisiest digger, the beautiful Bugatti and then a 6x6 series 2 Landy. Its what makes this channel so interesting. Thank you. I've seen 6 x 6 Range Rover Fire engines when I was in the Navy at RNAS Culdrose in Cornwall but never a series 2.

Ah yes, mud. I was a tanker in Germany 1974 to 76, German mud is famous and 2 things tanks make very well are huge clouds of dust and unreal amounts of mud. Nothing like pulling an M60A1 out that is buried to the sponson boxes, about 5 feet deep. Buggati is absolutely beautiful, and what a sound. 6x6 Land Rover, who knew? Fantastic.

When I was at school as part of his Metalwork exam in 1974 a boy at the school constructed a 6 wheel Land Rover. That was brilliant, interesting and entertaining. If you can find somewhere where they are resurfacing a section of road, see if you can get the planings off them. You can lay them as a hard surface and in the hot weather the tarmac will melt to fuse it together. Thats what we did at our local aircraft museum, Morayvia, and it worked a treat. Big hardstanding for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters now. That 6x6 series was cool. Seen 6x6 range rover airfield fire tenders in the RAF. Not a series though. Bugatti an absolute beauty too. And very interesting to me was the Jaguar parked behind the land rover.

Mr. Hewes, During CoVid I purchased a Liebherr 921, long in the tooth and some slap in the boom, but on massive tracks and a nine liter, six cylinder air cooled engine. The thing is a monster and the biggest toy I have on our small holding in the middle of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Having burst a hose and another one to fix after a friend blew it out, I need to change them all. The digger has so far rescued my Barford Site Dum Truck SX3000, which I thought would go anywhere, until I beached it and a rather large trailer that my old international tractor was not up to pulling on a seriously wet field. But when you have power and weight (21Tonnes) there is no obstacle, other than the wife!!! It's not the best digger, but it's mine and I can fix it!

Eh, you don't need much experience to operate those machines. In all actuality, the bigger they get, the easier to work them. My brother and I had zero hours working on D10s and we finished the multi-generational land flattening project. Took a tiny mountain down to a hill with a pair of them to fill up all the valleys that made that land otherwise useless for farming, over the course of a few years. The biggest secret is ... let the machine do the work. It's kinda like working with hand saws. If you force it, it will bend. If you don't give it enough pressure, it won't cut proper. Same with these machines. Keep them steady on and they do the job.
