Hey everyone, welcome back to another cheapo device review! Nothing too special, just something I had organized while I am on my break. Let me know what you think about this one down below and do you think it has Blood Oxygen sensors? I honestly don't think so but I could be wrong. Anyways, I explain in this one why I don't really look at smartwatches so these types of videos are very few and far between so enjoy for what it is :) Thanks for tuning in and I'll see you in the next one! The blood oxygen sensor probably works as it uses the same technique as heart rate measuring so would be an easy feature to add to the software. Its probably not very accurate though. Blood pressure monitoring probably doesn't work very well as thats loads more difficult to get an accurate reading with ccd sensors. I have a pretty similar watch to this (same os i think) and regardless of the manufacturers bullshitting they really are a marvel of engineering. Cramming that much tech in such a tiny space and selling it so cheaply would have been unheard of 20 years ago. The fact they are basically disposable novelty items really shows how far we have come.

I think one of the dimples on the chip is a optical camera and the GREEN LED's penetrate your skin enough so it can "see" your blood or something to that effect. they do seem to actually work and be decently accurate.

Honestly, for the price, this is not a bad little watch. Would be fun to give to your kid that really really wants an apple watch like Mom. Its got all the features you need and most of all it looks like the real deal minus the crown. But if you are going to use the watch for the sleep and fitness tracking I would just get a last years gen Fitbit versa or Garmin Venue for around $100. For my work watch I still use a Galaxy Watch Actrive 2 that is 4 years old and still works flawlessly and its been through hell.

Hey Smoorez, we have many cheapo smartwatch things here in India. The best part with all of the multiple branded ones is that they all use the same Da Fit app. All of these fitness bands have nearly the same interface even the hardware at this point. Loved seeing you review this one. CHeers.

Yeah, all those fitness bands masquerading as "smartwatches" most likely are made in the same factory in Fuyong Town, Shenzhen, China with different logos and slight customisation of software and hardware. I have a Fireboltt one with nearly the exact same UI but instead of grid app menu, it has one that resembles Apple watchOS.

That's all the hardware it needs to see your pulse and blood pressure and O2.. it's actually a very simple circuit that only needs a basic PCB with red or green light and the optical sensor.. green light is not quite as accurate as red light.. for some reason the red light is better at penetrating the skin and easier for the optic sensor to see.. but your correct saying it's just a very basic fitness watch.. but it's still more useful than a Fitbit of that time era 😊

I have a noise watch and that watch uses the same app to sync and show stats. After using it for an year, the obvious drawback was the update and no cloud storing if your phone reset and all and sometimes it doesn't connect or respond to the watch. But having this many wallpapers is also gud, by watch doesn't came with so it is what it is. If you get the latest or older Mi watch, you can play games and have a calculator as a wallpaper.

you'll find there is an infrared/red LED (for heart rate) as well as the green ones, and yep, they can be combined to measure SPO2 well, and reasonably approximate blood pressure. So better than a random number generator, but not a medical device :D

Oh yeah it's just marketing from Apple but that's the first time I ever heard "Retina" being thrown around so I just felt that this was simply copying that. Looking at this display close up it's definitely not as sharp as it says but yeah simple marketing really. Other companies call it whatever but since this is very reminiscent of an Apple watch they stuck it to that.

Why not selling it as a "change your background watch" instead? Anyways, still a cool looking device! I still prefer my cheap casio watch tho hahah battery life is rated in years. Using your intro to leave this comment for the algorithm. Hope you're all having a great day. Oh, for reference if you're in benefits in the UK, and need a phone, they provide you with an Alcatel. The damn thing is so underpowered that if you have too many notifications on startup, it crashes and reboots. Same if you're doing anything when a phonecall comes through.

It is not possible to measure blood pressure without compressing the wrist. even then a wrist measurement is wildly inaccurate. smart watches can only measure heart rate, not BP. Unless the watch band somehow inflates and conforms to your wrist, then the BP measurements are always fake. Heart rate is a totally easier thing to measure with a simple sensor. Wait, the watch band is made of silica gel? Immediately 2 things come to mind.... 1:silica gel would fall apart in moist environments.... its made to absorb water. 2: you're not supposed to eat silica gel.

Well, one has to give them some credit here because for a mere 30 USD they quite deliver some tech and the app‘s not too shabby either! There are way WAAAY more worse „smart watches“ out there which even cost more, have a worse display and obviously offer way less functions. So if someone wants a basic fitness tracker, this Watch might be sort of useful. Nonetheless the Apple Watch still is top of the line when it comes to accuracy „smartness“ and all the other stuff. You simply can‘t beat the original which, however has also a high pricetag. But kudos, this is a smartwatch(?) I‘d not regard as an utter failure at all. You get what you pay for and in this case you really get something here for the buck…
