The mother got remarried after 8 months of that precious little one's disappearance. I wouldn't be able to think about relationships while my baby is missing. I wouldn't be able to go on with life period. He's not even my child and I was crying harder then they were. Poor baby.

BIG FACT RIGHT HERE; For those who’s saying that the little kid wasn’t in the camp at all were all wrong, because the story tell at 2:34 that the boy was with his mom and dad in the store the next morning of camping, so it’s most likely someone saw the kid in the store and was infact alive at that time.

All their versions of the story have one fundamental flaw: they would let their child alone with his grandfather who suffered from Alzheimer's and was breathing with the support of an oxygen tank. There is no way any sane person would leave a child alone in the woods with a person that is both mentally and physically limited. He was just their scapegoat. 🐐

If your child is missing; you panic. One bar on the cell phone is enough. The fact that the father LEFT to "get better cell service" is so full of BS. You call 911! If you lose the signal, so be it, THEN drive down the road a little ways. But to not even try initially? The mom tried and was successful the very first time. The dad DEFINITELY left to dispose of the body. It's obvious...

What have they done to make people think they did something? Honestly not a single person can say what they would do in that situation. I work crime scene and I've seen many parents of missing children. Some are frantic, some are calm and or numb, some are angry and uncooperative. That's why DeOrr's parents haven't been arrested. You can't go off behavior alone. You can't go off their testimonies either. A parent's mind can go into a fog when their child is missing and they easily mix up information. And yes distancing language like "that boy" can be bc they're guilty. It can also be bc they are internally dealing with the possibility their son is dead. That's why I'm asking what they did to get crucified by your community

There’s no way he was ever at the camp site, they supposedly were looking for the child within 15 minutes of the child going missing, police and search parties were there within the hour were nothing was found no clothing no blood (if he had been taken by a wild animal) surely something would have been found....Deorr was never there..... 😞 sad
@shutup9224
@shutup9224 3 жыл бұрын
My theory: Deorr never made it to the campsite. I think they accidentally killed him and they obviously didn’t want to go to jail and they cover it up by disposing of his body somewhere completely far away from the campsite so he wouldn’t be found. Then, they decided to create a whole different story of what had actually happened. They went to that campsite and waited a few hours then called the police saying that Deorr had gone missing so police would search that area. Their stories are inconsistent, they failed the polygraph tests, the jacket which he supposedly had on when he went missing was found at their house, and the fact that the mother got married 8 months after the disappearance of her son acting like nothing happened. I know everyone reacts differently, but if I was the mother of the kid I would still have hope that he’s alive and be more busy trying to find him rather than wasting my time trying to find someone to marry.

I believe the last theory that the trip was a cover. I wonder if the country store has anyone that could state if they saw Deorr since he supposedly went on that trip. Can't imagine they would drive all the way back to town to buy tampons and candy and leave Deorr in the vehicle. Most little kids get candy because they come in to the store with the parents and ask for it. A two year old is not likely to make a request and stay in the car. If he got candy then he was in the store. Either a clerk or surveillance camera could vouch for this and solidify a time table. And who the hell meets another lover, divorces, dates them, gets engaged, married, and moves away within less than 8 months of Deorr's disappearance? And the father moves out of state in that same time? Jesus, both wanted to move on from this and put as much distance between themselves and that day. I said this in another post. I think the clues lie in the past and what was going on in the family that led up to this moment. Follow up with the OBGYN MD and the Pediatrician. Look at anything that produces a record. Receipts don't lie.

I live in Idaho and heard a lot about this case. When the public kept telling the authorities that the parents had something to do with his disappearance, they told everyone to stop, that they weren't suspects but grieving parents. Then suddenly a year or so later, they were suddenly suspects. I did read that a cadaver dog found remains of a child in the area recently (could possibly be fake news) but I always thought the parents were full of shit.

If they did something to that baby why they would do it ?! IS JUST A LITTLE KID! What can a little kid do to someone what can a baby do to someone...? They obviously do something and are hiding something....

They made a Missing411 documentary and this case was the focal point. But it was before all the other information started coming out, like the coat the kid was apparently wearing when he went missing being found in the house. Im guessing a lot of people don't want to do a documentary about their missing child, especially one thats got a supernatural/sci-fi vibe. They probably used this case because Deorr's parents were more than happy to do a documentary about how they definitely totally didn't do it.

He was killed at home. Then they all came up with the camping plan. The father driving all the way down the road to get phone signal is an excuse: what he was really doing was keeping a lookout (as it was a one way entry) and giving the others time to hide/dispose of body or “fake” the disappearance at the campsite.
@enderthexenocide760
@enderthexenocide760 Жыл бұрын
Your comment makes no sense at all. If he was killed at home why would they have brought the body camping to dispose of it and then report him missing? Let's say the theory that he was never on the trip and died at home is correct, which I personally don't believe. They would not have then brought the body with them. They would have disposed of him before and then used the camping trip to stage a disappearance. Bringing the body with them would completely defeat the purpose of the ruse. I think it is very possible there was an accidental death while at the campsite, but the boy dying at home and then still being brought on the trip is far fetched.

Originally I thought an accident occurred. Maybe the toddler put something in his mouth and choked to death or tripped and had a freak accident. But reviewing things I think some neglect was going on. First off, taking a child that young to camp is already risky unless you’re willing to never part from that baby. The parents parted… Then there’s a man who is easily suggestable, as in he’s got some kind of mental disability. And then there’s the great grandfather who has Alzheimer’s, hearing aids, and needs an oxygen tank! The man was confused and had no clue Deorr was with him. He thought the toddler was with his parents. Also who lets a toddler walk in the woods alone??? So the parents do seem suspicious and careless. It’s also sus that the mother got remarried 8 months after the entire incident. That feels weird. And in interviews the father kept smiling and saying “soon we will be able to prove to everyone that we were innocent all along.” It’s stated so confidently that it gives off a weird vibe. Like he knows the answer to it all. I think some coercion happened, an accident may have happened, and a definite cover up happened. The great grandfather felt immense guilt and laughed nervously. But I don’t think he did anything, he feels guilt towards his granddaughter and grandson in law. Some people are just loyal to a fault.

They found his cowboy boots that were supposedly missing with him at the parents' home. Nobody credible recalls seeing him on the trip. They conveniently went to a remote location with limited cell service and that required an extensive amount of time to travel to. The grandfather was suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and isn't reliable. His friend was supposedly heavily intoxicated and makes his memory questionable at best. That leaves the parents, who decided to turn their back on a toddler while they went fishing. That poor little boy never went camping with his parents, and they never had any intention of finding him alive. His boots would have come off in an animal attack (or if he'd been carried away by a bird, as some have suggested). Someone traveling to this area would have surely been witnessed by law enforcement, given the remoteness of the area. Understanding what happened before the trip took place will help solve the mystery.

watching the People Magazine Investigates episode about this case and it's just so painfully obvious that the mom, at the very least, knows a lot more than she's saying. she takes any opportunity to point out that she saw a suspicious person at the store, or the campsite, essentially trying to deflect blame or suspicion. both parents lied about sooo many different things, like the beer delivery guy and the diesel seeing + playing with DeOrr, which turned out to have never happened. the diesel guy said he definitely saw a car seat but no baby. maybe they were driving around Leadore to get rid of the baby's body. Idk if I think they legitimately murdered him, but maybe there was an accident and they thought they'd be blamed so they covered it up. I think they're well aware of what happened to DeOrr.

Their inconsistent stories, coupled with the fact that there were no witnesses that ever saw Deorr, I believe they took advantage of the fact that his grandfather had Alzheimer’s and would struggle to recollect the event. I think it's almost obvious what happened... Grandpa did something that killed the kid during an Alzheimer's spell. That's why the family mentioned the kid going back to stay with grandpa, just in case the cops discovered evidence of the kid being physically there with gramps. The family kept it secret, because they didn't want grandpa getting locked up. The family still won't come clean, because they don't want to face charges of covering up the murder. In this scenario the murder was accidental, or at least occured during a lapse of mental health. If I had to bet I'd put all my chips on this explanation.
