Even though the case is in north virginia, the name of the city with the same name is hinted, like it’s indirectly saying thats where the man came from: Fayetteville. Instead of outright saying Fayetteville, North Virginia, it’s using the 35” coordinate of a place that coincidentally has the same name that is required to cross a border. Maybe they were taken to Illinois, and the letter is saying 35” for someone to find the city of the same name, the boy is from Fayatteville

13:40 This photograph is the reason I believe the children must've survived... In a True Crime Podcast, Sylvia (the youngest sister) gave an interview mentioning that Louis gave his brother Maurice the nickname "Frankie"... so Louis might've actually sent this picture to his mother as hint that he was still alive. Maybe they were scared to directly contact the family? Some people online said that Ilil could actually be supposed to stand for "Illinois". Or that the numbers could be a zipcode. The father was probably a Marxist or someone who was relatively left-wing, who fled Italy because of fascism, like a lot of Italian emigrants (many artists and Trade Unionists left Italy during WW2). He may have thought that he could be more outspoken about the atrocities under Mussolini in America (free country, etc), particularly after Mussolini was executed which had already happened around the time of this case. But his community was mainly Italian and probably fascist. It's desperately sad.
@emeraldosamudra8567 жыл бұрын
I can see at this point where the case remain unsolved is because probably at that time immigrants especially Italian residing in the US were treated "unfairly" by the us gov. or locals.. so i agree with the term that this has something to do with class relations and societal conflicts among both countries as we can see at that times the world war still ongoing and societal conflicts are occurring everywhere. we can conclude that the family couldn't get much help from the authorities like the federal bureaucracy because i can say that they all working up together to cover up the case of the missing children and that feds and FBI were corrupted as well as they try to really tear down the family.. i really hope the parents could find the truth in the heaven.. probably the most saddened tragic case of all time

Pretty much yeah, considering they were most likely from the dirt he used to fill the basement, and that we no longer know where they are. If they still had access to them then that would be great, they could DNA test them and see if it’s actually one of the kids or at least identify who they belonged to, but unfortunately they can’t do that. It didn’t work out between them and they broke up still being friends. The person he dated was Martha. She didn’t have the name and he said there is no way they are just doppelgängers. In Australia in the 1960 parents lost all of their children, too. Three, two girls and a boy between 9 and six or so. I cannot imagine how you live on. There are tons of photograhs in the internet, you see the garden with the swings and their bikes and so on. The whole life was devoted to the children, and from one day to the next all had ended. All was quiet. And when your children DIE, it is killing yourself-- but they disappeared, ike here. They went to the beach, both parents wanted to go with them, but had something else to do, nothing they could have left, but... We have a grave on ou churchyard from the 1880s, and there are three children, which died in six days. Boy girl, boy. But, as I said before, they DIED. The poor parents sat alone in an empty house. But they knew what happened. The poor parents in Australia are in their 90s now They live so lobng, it would be a blessing for a happy big family but they only live now for suffering. I could cry every time I think of them, and both cases, that australian (I cannot remember the name in this moment) and the Sodder one, will always be somehow connected for me, since the parents never learned what happend to their beloved children

They lost all of tgheir children, two girls, one boy, and they the parebnts, which are in their nineties now-s still fight and hope. It is heartbreaking How can you live onlike that? Here in Germany was child raper caught, which had murdered two years before the last girl another one, and the father of this girl could not eat, and could only stay alive in the hope to get his child back But he was like a skeleton. A paper wrote, he looked like a Holocaustvictim, and this is true. He said, if his little girl was alive, she would suffer that moment when he was eating, and so he couldn't. ANd in the end all was for nothing. WHen they caught that mean pig, weeks later he said where to find her He hAD THROWN HER IN THE DIRT NEAR A WILD WAY; ALL THEY FOUND WAS PARTS OF HER BONES: tHE PARENTS COUL NOT GO TO COURT; NOTHING THEY HAVE BEEN DESTROYED BECAUSE OF THESE TWO YEARS: aND THEY ONLY LOST one CHILD: tHEE AUSTRALIAN PARENTS LOST all: i AM HAPPY FOR EACH MOMENT i DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT: tHAT AUSTRALIAN CASE ALWAYS REMINDS ME TO THE sODER CASE hEARTBREAKING; i HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ELSE TO SA. Interesting fact: Jennie Sodder had a brother named Frank Cipriani. He was from Fayetteville and according to his obituary owned a trucking business like George. He was the relative that lived in Florida that was investigated because of the witness report of the children seen in cars with Florida licence plates. The picture of Louis was specifically addressed to Jennie and said “brother Frankie”. I’m surprised the Sodders didn’t have him investigated more.

JonBenét Ramsay's murder, Roanoke colony, Madelaine McCann's disappearance, New Orlean's Axeman, Jack the Ripper, Cleveland Torso Murderer... All are great mysteries they could make episodes about. And I am in love with Shane! He asks very good questions, and can actually make this funny!

And since we mentioned American Horror Story, another mystery they could talk about next is the Amityville (supposedly) haunted house.
@Andre-bm1ng4 жыл бұрын
This is my theory: The police department and the fire department knew about this. That’s why they never answered and were late, also they didn’t want to work with the FBI. So the man who kidnapped the kids payed them to keep their mouth shut and told them to not respond to the call and be late.

Those poor children. Imagine being kidnapped, knowing that you would never get justice. It must've been so hard for the parents. I couldnt imagine losing my children and never getting them back...
@tyanabanana11476 жыл бұрын
Even if those kids were still alive today, the oldest, Maurice, was 14 at the time of the fire in 1945, meaning he was born in 1931, meaning that if he was still alive today he'd be 87. It's possible but also a little unlikely. So if they didn't die back then, I'm sure they've probably started to die off from old age by now, which is really sad.
@xo8016 жыл бұрын
tyanabanana1147 don't forget that their mother lived until 85. they'd only be around her age, so it's perfectly possible that they're alive still
@allisonminto89696 жыл бұрын
But wouldn't you think at least with the older kids, they would know the truth? That eventually they would break free (move out, or get married) then tell the story? I can see the younger ones not remembering the ordeal and growing up with the thought.. O these are my real parents.. Not knowing those people aren't their parents.
