A group of proud scientists approach God and state they have created a self replicating living cell. God says I am impressed, please show me. The scientists obliged, several set up a lab table. One scientist emptied a can of dirt on the table, God asked "what is this", and the scientist replied "it's dirt, we need it to create the cell". God said " I want you to create the dirt as well".

Ever lution....Ever dreamin !!! You have to hand it to them. It's a great bedtime story. Classic fairy tale that starts with the classic phrase "Once upon a time. ..."..........."Millions of years ago .." Every good fairy story has elements of truth and a moral. The moral of this one of course is there is no God and we are purposeless beings that happened by chance from slime. So very inspiring for kids...sure!

The fact that darwinism has been debunked should be a source of encouragement for atheists. It means you are not a random monkey mistake. It means your great, great, great... grandkids won't grow scales and swim off into the ocean never to be seen again. It means you were designed by the most intelligent mind in the universe with a loving purpose. A lot of the time, they don't want to talk about it because they have been taught that what we think is so ridiculous it's not worth even wasting time and energy to address. They just believe what they are taught. They let their trusted "authorities" tell them what and how to think. They need to step back and try thinking for themselves if they would.

Abiogenesis proposes that in the early, ancient Earth, basic chemical processes developed a mode of self replication, which could then follow an evolutionary process allowing the gradual development of complex organs molecules, first RNA and later DNA over half a trillion years. Abiogenesis does not say that life "just popped into existence". That's what young Earth creationists claim, and it is a ridiculous notion. Of course. Young Earth creatists give Christianity a bad name.

Specialised proteins then formed code, and magically dna followed? Basic? What was first- cell nucleus or the membrane? Can a cell survive in water? You guys are following fairy tales involving soup. You're conflating abiogenesis with evolution. Evolution is better attested than gravity, backed up by different sciences. Paleontology, anthropology, biology, geology and genealogy. Life didn't just pop into existence, it took at least 500 000 000 years.

Adaptation is attested to by observation. Changes in body plan or organ systems are not. There’s no direct evidence for amoebas becoming astronauts through progressive steps at any of the steps of that hypothetical process. There is a requirement for new information to be added to the DNA for any progress to be made. What we actually see in practice is the degradation of preexisting information. You mentioned that it’s as obvious as gravity. You drop a rock and it falls to the ground. But you pick up a rock with a fossil in it and that plant or animal is either extinct or it is unchanged from life we observe today. There’s tens of thousands of examples of stasis in the fossil record that supposedly span hundreds of millions of years. However the transitional forms for millions of species are not found anywhere except in the imagination. Sure, we may debate a hundred different transitional fossils but we don’t see the record of transitions that Darwin predicted if his theory was correct. Lastly, but really firstly, life can’t get itself started without preexisting life. That’s called The Law of Biogenesis. A law in science is where after rigorous testing there are no exceptions. Even if we try to make life in a lab using the right ingredients and intelligence we can’t do it. There aren’t enough atoms in the known universe, even if they were all amino acids, to combine by chance to create life and there isn’t enough time in a trillion, trillion years to form life by the laws of probability. The same people who designed your education system, built the libraries, own the printing of money, own the politicians, and own the media are the same people who are telling you that life came from an explosion and intelligence was accidental. They are the same people who tell us that there’s different races of people who are more or less evolved than each other. It’s no longer fashionable to enslave people with chains but they don’t need chains if they can control people’s minds and control them through debt. They can be like gods as they exterminate their enemies through wars that they create and plunge nations into debt that they cannot repay in order to seize their real assets. You have to decide if you want the truth. The arguments that you are using are not even your own arguments. I know that it’s what you’ve been told but have you ever stopped thinking their thoughts they told you to think and asked yourself if they are true? Maybe you are ok with being enslaved but it’s never going to make it true. Jesus said, “The truth will set you free.” But if you are free then you are accountable with what you do with your freedom. That scares most people so they buy into the lie. That’s your choice. God gives us free will to come out of the illusion or to stay in it. Like the gambling addict most people stay and become a prisoner to the game with only fantasies of winning to keep them at the table. The hooks are usually already too deep into their flesh and they think they can win a rigged game. Even the signs outside the casino say, “Win Big!” The signs are paid for by the owners of the casino. Follow the money, follow the yellow brick road, just don’t pull back the curtain and see the “wizard” is a fake or you’ll ruin your own fantasy.

You're a big dreamer Derek, like a used car salesman. Evolution is an utter scam. Every step of the myth is contested easily. Mutations did nothing what so ever. You feel that a mammal such as a whale could mutate its complex internal organs, huge skeleton, relocate its nostrils to the top of its head, and develope a new feeding system as well as reproduction system, not to mention sonar- all from a land rodent? @Box Elder beautifully written. I've seen stasis myself down at Point Addis Australia. Chitton fossils in the same rock of the exact same chittons. Those creatures are complex- they have 8 separate armoured plates, which are also separate valves, they can ball up in your hand when you pick them up, though they are not easy to pick up before they suck to the rock unmovable due to 8 valves. They can get to 6 inches long. Jake
