Strange as it sounds I'm glad to see someone say something negative about an indie brand. I see swatches of them all the time where the person will say 'The formula wasn't great or it needed 15 coats but it's still a wonderful polish and you should buy it!.' Yet, if the same thing happened with a mainstream brand they would tear it apart. I love my indies but there have been some serious duds that I would have stayed away from if the swatches and reviews were not sugarcoated.

Thanks for the vid ;) I happen to really love Dollish Polish, but some of that is sentimental....it was one of my first ever tried indie brands, and I'm really fond of Dolly, whom I've met in person. I am sorry you've had such bad experience with sinking glitters! I just checked my polish from the 80s collex (I'll Tumble For Ya) and it didn't seem as bad ;( If you're very concerned, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Dolly about the severity of the sinking problem. That kind of really sucks about Rockstar Nails also....ugh! Sort of glad they aren't in business anymore, lol. Dupe videos and more regret vids would be great!! lol it's nice to hear honest opinions of the polish real nail enthusiasts sort of hated.....

For those sinking trellises you could try putting some glitter food in them. I heard that it rectifies the problem, but I've only seen it done with clear based glitters, so I'm not sure if it will mess with the base.

I regret buying the dark purple polish From theLancome "French Idole Fall 2014 Collection". I just bought it on clearance, Amethyst Brune I think it's called, and in the bottle it looks purple gemstone to me... But it's Sheer and streaky! And if you build it up with a coat or two more, then it gets really, really dark and loks nothing like the beauty in the bottle.

That nail polish that you said was cracking is probably one of those crackle polished that are meant to be like that I really like the result that you showed in the video.

Totally agree about the Dollish 80's collection! I have the yellow shade and it totally sucks. I think it's because the base is so THIN! Even if you could get the glitters to come out, the base is so sheer that you would need 1.000 coats to get it opaque. I even layered it over a yellow undie and it still looked bad. It's a shame because I really do like most of my Dollish Polishes.

I regret buying Amythest by Bare Minerals. I love their polishes (and their brushes!) on the whole, but that one looked much darker on than in the bottle, almost black rather than purple. My friend liked it on me, though, so... Oh, and same company, Tahitian Pearl. Again, gorgeous in the bottle-- kind of a taupe with an orange, shimmery undertone-- but on, it looks just brown in most lights. My other friend loves it, though, so I gave her my bottle. Let's see... Reggae and Rum from Essie; just not a good color on me.

How do you stop your polishes from going gloppy and thick. I tend to find after using my polishes twice maybe three times the stuff left in the bottle becomes very thick and not usable anymore. Please help as I am fed up of wasting money on polishes and only using them 3 times.

Ashleigh Jo-Anne You have to make sure that there isn't a bunch of polish dried up onto the neck of the bottle. That lets air in and dries them out.

Love your videos. As a newbie to your channel I'd be very interested in a "dupes" video. I regret buying Coral Reef by Sally Hansen. The formula is terrible and no matter how thin I put the coats on it takes forever to dry. Being that it is nearly impossible to dry it always gets dented.

***** Nope! It's supposed to "spot" like oil over water, but it's not supposed to crack as well. It's different from the Black Shatter polish.

I know it’s been a few years since your post but I’m replying anyway. I purchased OPI My Chihuahua Bites and really hated the color. Fast forward about 3 or so years, I revisited it and fell in love. While I was still wearing MCBs I was gifted Cajun Shrimp. I had been thinking about purchasing it off and on for years but hadn’t. It turns out MCBs and CS are an exact dupe for each other. Then I found out that I Mainely Eat Lobster is a dupe for them as well. I would like to purchase My Chihuahua Doesn’t Bite Anymore but I’m afraid it’s not the orange OPI claims.
