Not as funny as the first one but still with some good gags! A lot more visual and background gags to look for and so many of them were so funny! It was also a pleasure seeing Frank again and his shenanigans. Well, onto the 33rd one sometime soon! Thanks for watching! Have a great day! :)

The paintings were of various disasters including the Chicago Fire, the Hindenberg, the Titanic, and finally 1988 Democratic presidential candidate Michael Dukakis implying that his candidacy was also a disaster.

The president was played by an imitator of George H. W. Bush who was the US president at the time, the exaggerated hands movements was one of his signature moves.

"That's the red light district. I wonder why Savage is hanging out down there." "Sex, Frank?" "Uh... no, not right now, Ed. We've got work to do." Fun Fact: The opening credits sequence ends with Zsa Zsa Gabor slapping the police car. This spoofs a 1989 incident in which Gabor was arrested for slapping a police officer. Automobile Enthusiast Fact: The electric car shown during the secret meeting is real. It is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero and was never mass produced. It has a top speed of 75 miles per hour and a max range of 50 miles. Hot Take Fact: "Weird Al" Yankovic had a brief role as a thug who holds the police at the precinct at gunpoint. In the scene, he says, "Okay, Pigs, say your prayers!" followed by an oblivious Frank slamming the door open and knocking Yankovic's character to the floor. Yankovic said it took more than twenty takes to get the scene done and his leg had turned "a nice shade of purple" after about sixteen takes. The stunt coordinator asked Yankovic at that point if he wanted to wear some padding. Yankovic also recalled that O.J. Simpson felt sorry for him.

The photo of the man in the blues bar you didn't recognize was Michael Dukakis, the governor of Massachusetts who lost the 1988 presidential election to George H. W. Bush by 426-111 electoral votes, hence fitting the disaster theme. Then at the very end they threw in another joke about when will the Democrats nominate someone worth voting for (1992, as it turned out). Dukakis also happened to be a cousin of actress Olympia Dukakis, who did win in 1988--the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, in _Moonstruck_ . The guy with the _To Serve Man_ book screaming that it was a cookbook was your famous fellow Canadian Lloyd Bochner, referencing a classic 1962 episode of _The Twilight Zone_ in which he starred.

That picture in the bar wasn't Mr. Rogers. It was Michael Dukakis, who was the democratic nominee for president in 1988. He got trounced by George Bush Sr in that election and was subsequently the butt of many jokes.

This was the first PG-13 movie I was allowed to watch by myself in a movie theater. I just turned 13 and mom said I could. I was a bit young to get some of the jokes but I still thought it was hilarious. Can't wait to see your reactions to some more of Leslie Neilson's movies. "Wrongfully Accused" and "Spy Hard" are two other funny movies of his. For a change of flavor, if you want to see Leslie in a serious role, the movie "Forbidden Planet" is a good one.

It wasn't Mister Rogers. It was Michael Dukakis. He was the Democratic candidate for US president in 1988. He was ahead in the polls for most of the year, but after a couple of poor choices late in the campaign, his numbers dropped considerably, and he lost to George Bush in a landslide. The joke is that the photos on the wall are great promises for the future which ended in disaster. Dukakis could have been a great president, until he tanked his campaign.

George H.W. Bush would at times use his hands to make a point. I’m sure it was exaggerated by his look a like actor. I’m sure the no pants guy is making fun of how hospital gowns look from behind. The bus to Detroit I half wonder if that’s a reference to The Big Bus. A nuclear powered bus that can go coast to coast nonstop! OJ might be stuck on that bus until Detroit. Maybe not but the environmental themes make me suspect that was the intent. It was a comedy disaster movie.
