It's taken a whole lot longer than 60 days to break the trauma bond! And I've gone back so many times, even after 1 year or 2 years no contact, then I have to start the healing process all over again. Be patient with yourself, this is a long and extremely difficult process.

30 plus year "cycle" here....unable to leave due to financial abuse as well....thank you for helping me understand the trauma bond better! Still trying to find a way out....

TW: My ex got violent be ause i discovered hin cheating on me with 15 other women. He really thought that he was a rockstar. Truthful diagnosed as a narcissistic sociopath. And i can't be in any relationship anymore. My ex husband on the other hand, took all my belongings, even everything i achieved. And i can't get it back. I lost all trust in men. I try to heal but it's very difficult. Feel lonely and vulnerable
