Since he is unable to function NOW, there must be in place a way to have him removed. Not sure I agree on term limits. I see a crap show everytime management changes and none of the replacements are familiar with the issues. Better voting practices for sure. As for "pensions" or "retirement " benefits. They can and should follow what the general public is subjected to. Contribute to SS, invest in IRA's (controlled by and followed by the same rules and regulations "We the People" are bound by, banning stock purchases of companies they regulate). No company/corporation/business provides a pension without a definitive time obligation. And we are subject to firing if we don't fulfill our obligations. Just a thought. I could be missing some perspectives. Have a Merry Christmas.

why not require cognitive tests for members over a certain age? Trump is 78 and is obviously mentally capable so I think to limit someone because of age isn't necessary but a failed cognitive test should be made public and disqualify a member from serving.

Has anyone stopped for a moment and thought about what is really happening today? Are Congress and the Senate really doing their job or are they all give-me-and-give-you agreements and everything is of course against the law, but today I have two important things that everyone needs to act against the Republicans and Democrats together? 1. National security 2. The pardons that Biden is giving to his associates and to unscrupulous murderers without considering the opinions of the victims. Is Trump also involved in this? I don't know everything. I think it's time to revoke the immunity of everyone, judges, prosecutors and so on... everyone is equal and everyone needs to stand trial. And be tried, including Biden, who delayed his decisions, caused murderers, saboteurs and spies to come into America, and he also sold the security of the United States to the Chinese, and we all see this with the Chinese balloon and drones approved by Biden. Any senator who supports Biden's pardon must be suspended from Congress or the Senate. This is my opinion. It's time to stop this trade and to do some real law and justice in this country.
