Awesome chat with David Miller, his work is exceptional, such a fanatic story teller. I love my copy of the book. The INOV8 matrix is a revelation, I own several pairs but the move back to zero drop is exciting and a max RoadFly. Nice one. Thanks Loyd. So much to see in one day! Trust your own talk on the Harrier stand went well. I bet your were hoarse after all the chat and banter! I might consider showing to promote my Fastrax club vest brand next year. Of course I'd have to weigh up the cost of a stand against what business it might bring in. Great video! I love the foot shape of the new Inov8 shoes but need the max cushion of somthing like a Hoka. So I’m super excited about those Max cushion Inov8 shoes coming soon!!

Inov-8 need a zero drop max cushion wide toe box shoe... 🤔 Matrix is good but need a 3rd axis to allow drop and cushioning options

Agreed. I'm not sure why companies are so adamant to not offer cushioned shoes in a zero drop. I like their expanded zero drop offering, but the max is definitely a miss.

Just finished a run in the good ol' Trailfly g270 V2s, which I still like. It was pleasant surprise seeing that the new shoes will use a supercritical foam, mainly because of the weight. Nowadays having a large variety of running shoes to choose from, before buying a shoe I always ask my self if is there another that can to the same or better job cheaper and/or lighter. And I feel that the weight department was the one place where Inov-8 was lacking, I hoped that the Speed models were lighter and more strip back and after watching your video at the Inov-8 headquarters that there is gonna be a Max lineup, I had my fingers crossed that we aren't getting some 350-400 g shoes. Now I'm really excited about the zero drop lineup with the new foam 👍

Missed the running show this year - thanks for the vid, particularly the Inov8 section. Love the current zero drop Trailfly but have stocked up on the current model because I don’t think the build quality of their 2024 shoes has been anything like their usual standard. Any thoughts? Hope I’m wrong - loved the look of that white 2025 model!

My Trailflys seem to be holding up well after around 100 miles Stuart. Liga’s run closer to 200 miles in hers, including the CCC at UTMB and they’re still going strong 👍

Anyone who is struggling with race entry fees should look at the LDWA events. They are open to both runners and walkers and are usually very cheap. My local one was £20 for a 50km around Derby including 4 aid stations and a meal at the end

Any idea when the zero drop line up is released? Or in fact when any of their new shoes are being released? Their social media has been quite quiet regarding their new line up which I’m surprised because it would really create a lot of interest with customers

It's definitely interesting that someone is making a brand of it a few years after she really made the concept "big". It's definitely her slogan, now someone else's brand. She'll probably take it like the champ she is and just ignore it.
