I will say this: This is my first video from this series from this channel. After having listened to the story up until Chapter 70 from another source, who was doing the chapters 4 or 5 at a time, tuning into this channel and moving to Chapter 71 onward is one of the best decisions I've done here. This channel is not riddled with text-to-speech that absolutely destroys the story. From what I can tell it is genuinely voice acted...and the subtitles are actually correct with what is being said. It wasn't until the third instance of the echoing narrative that I finally realized it was meant to portray inner monologue, and THAT definitely enhanced the experience. The background sound effects further enhance the narrative. Up until this video, I have always heard and read 'vanlil' as 'Hamill' and the Kroxil, or whatever the avians are called, as 'crocodile' Keep up the great work here.

you are mostly rught about it being voice acted. the creator uses software to allow himself to voice more characters more easily. which is why many of the characters have a similar accent.

this series has singlehandedly been the best audiobook experience of my life. the immersion is so good and the emotion put into the performances are fantastic. This series has become my newest hyperfixation and I play stellaris while listening to this series having to take multiple breaks to just walk around from shock just because of how much the storytelling is portrayed so real and so emotional by yall.

I’d like to see this turned into a video series. Honestly with free trials to Netflix I’ve never glanced anything nearing this normal of story telling. Yea I’m old but it invokes older sci-fi stories for me, thrilling drags me in and has enough moral quandaries peppered in to make me think without flat out slapping me in the face. Something todays writers seem to miss, they get so focused on a message that they forget you can slip it in subtly and still get the message across, that’s why when I was a kid I enjoyed alien nation before it got pulled from tv. It grappled a similar concept but taking place on an earth where our best space flight was still shuttles launched up to repair satellites.

This is one of the best sci-fi stories I have heard, and I love the background noises and the different accents which make this story more realistic unbelievable. I love downloading the 30 episode chunks which I often listen to when I'm on the train on long journeys. I believe that the narration is fantastic very addictive when listening to it.

Recently I did begin to picture Sam when Glim made a comment about her eyebrows being thick. I began to picture her with Eastern European features. Im 6:38:21 in and i love the narrator of this story, they did a good job with it. The VA's are fantastic. Tbh, the only character i like in this book is the reporter. She is cool because she only cares about the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Every other character in this book is diabolical, and i mean EVERY other one of them, the only good person in this book is the reporter.

Combat is scary when it is rifle to rifle, blade to blade. In the space combat the writer makes the humans seem stoic. If you don't like the descriptions of ground combat you may want to play at 2x speed the ground evacuation of Sillis coming up.

I have _no clue_ what you're talking about re: "cowardly". I haven't served myself, but I have family and friends that did, and they're just people. Training, discipline, and camaraderie propel soldiers to _act_ bravely, but nobody _feels_ brave on the battlefield. If you've been there yourself, please feel free to set me straight, but my secondhand impressions thus far are pretty consistent with the infantry battles depicted in The Nature of Predators. If your expectations of bravery are coming from cartoons or movies, though, it might be time to pop that bubble.
