Queta has a pretty limited skill set on offense, but he's a true big who actually plays big. You can always tell when he's in there that he's a big physical presence. While Porzingis is still out, it's really important that the Celts have a guy like Queta who can step right in and handle the middle of the floor with his strength and length.
@Strategic_ReformerКүн бұрын
@Ironfangzu definitely. I also feel he hasn't been utilized by the team to his full potential. I see multiple plays each game where he's open on the roll or has a clear lane to the hoop but doesn't get the pass, which is kinda dumb cause how can you miss him?

Shoulda showed the clip of Peyton’s 60 footer he made on opening night this year that didn’t count cuz it was a split second after the buzzer. If that counted, he would’ve made 3 half court shots over the span of like 5 games (2 in the finals, then that one opening night).

I notice you don't touch on defense, I am a Cs fan since the Bill russell days and I love Pritchard's game but as far as being a starter on any other team goes, I disagree. If you watched the Cleveland game, whoever Pritcherd was on, they would screen, get the switch, and just back him in and shoot over him. While he is a tenacious defender, he is still susceptible to his play against the post up. My opinion is that he is lucky to be on the perfect team for his abilities. If and when Porzingis gets healthy we will be seeing less of Pritchard, and that is a shame.

he can only be targeted by taller players and even then unlike garland and other small guards he's actually big enough to hold his own in the post he USED to be a liability not anymore.
@melmartinez70023 күн бұрын
@@GurtonBuster07 Yeah, Payton may be "only" 6' 1", but he's built like a brick. He's very strong. Not Jrue Holiday strong (which is insane). But way stronger than most small 'quick guards'. Height also mainly matters when you get closer to the rim. It's much less of a factor out on the perimeter and for picking up the ball advance, which is where Payton plays most of his defense. Out there, foot speed and smarts on when to go over/under screens and switch or not is the most important thing.

As a Patriots fan who has watched the Pats management fumble the ball at every turn, I've been super appreciative that Danny and Brad has put us in the position we are in. They clearly know what they are doing, and they are doing it better than the management of other teams. I wish Brad could go run the Patriots for a few years. He surely wouldn't inherit a team that has a horrific, league worst offensive line, and 2 years later, we still have a league worst offensive line.

If you are playing defense against the Celtics, Tatum needs to be double teamed. Brown needs to be double teamed. Both of these guys can beat single coverage off the dribble and end up with an easy layup or a dunk. Derek White is almost impossible to guard with one guy. He moves without the ball constantly, and if you lose sight of him for a second, he'll torch you. Holiday is only a slightly less dangerous threat by comparison. But he can hit the sideline corner 3 with the best of them, and he has a very physical low post game where he can overpower most guards. You have to do what you can to guard these guys, and so Pritchard is left semi-unguarded because you only have so many players on the floor. But, he's the Celtic's best 3 point shooter. What do you do on D?
