Nathan, This is a hasty mid-cycle retrofit to add an AWD system. People will have to decide whether the benefit of the added AWD system is worth the loss of mpg the Hybrid provides and the loss of power the V6 offers. The ES also shares a Kentucky-fried factory with the Camry, Avalon and RAV4 Hybrid.

How about the cheap window switches on the door? For a luxury vehicle it does allow a lot of wind noise into the cabin. The headliner is color mismatched. Both parties went to different dealerships to get their less than 1yr old cherokees worked on and both had the entire gas tanks replaced, and both had the same issues within weeks of the “repair”. Both couldn’t afford to take off work or time to keep chasing the issue that should have been fixed. Obviously an issue with FCA. Sorry, but I’ll take a car from a company that still makes vehicles that last and/or need few trips to the dealerships over the garbage a lot of other companies are putting out. Just my two cents.
