Matt. I've been waiting for this! Your.. emotional filled.. review! And yes your editing on this is spot on! Yes what a machine! What an INCREDIBLE Car. The technology is mind blowing! Over 700 hp! 1000 m of torque... Why the motoring press obsesses over the overall weight..( yet never mention the c*** Tesla Plaid weight or even Porsche's pathetic Taycan....is beyond me) The BMW engineers have literally defied gravity! 0-60 in around 3 seconds! Perfection! This is the " Super Car" of it's generation. Design wise just awesome. Not least in this fantastic specification.. what colour?... Wheels? What we are forgetting is perhaps the best choice, the Touring! OMG! Thank you Matt. Again something tells us all You really rather enjoyed the M5... Imagine a CS version! ❤😜

The car will be good for motorway cruising. Good to see Hankook are now a premium tyre manufacturer🤔 everyone keeps going on about the 700 ponies yet it's slower than previous m5. Only the top end does it nudge the previous out. I have had mpowers since 1997 and have had quite a few . They just keep getting bigger and bigger till this it is nearly a bus size. Front end looks good but the rear. I mean someone just stuck that back valence on and said it isn't great it isn't bad i guess it will do.

Absolutely no negatives? The car is too heavy,it needs to come with ceramic brakes,as the standard brakes can’t cope, there will also be a competition version released within 12 months with 800hp and at least 100 kgs lighter. I know you’re working for Sytner but at least point out some negatives

How do you know the standard brakes aren’t up to the task ? Do you own one ? And why would a manufacturer put substandard brakes on a vehicle they are selling to the public.

This might be the most misinformed post I've seen in a while. The regular brakes are more than capable of handling the car's weight. Also, BMW implied there won't be a Competition version.
